    Once you do the prep, divide into 3 airtight containers, for here it is only 20 mins to the table whenever you need it. I have three-seasoned rice mix recipes see which one you like best. Look for the other two Chicken Flavored and Onion Flavored Rice Mix.

    Many recipes call for a 40 gram (1.4oz) packet of French onion soup mix or dry onion soup mix. This makes a great replacement. Can be made gluten-free with the addition of gluten-free stock powder or a gluten-free bouillon cube and gf cornflour (AUssies White Wings brand is suitable).

    We live where cans of crescent roll dough are not available. I searched the 'net for something I could use as a substitute. While I don't claim these are EXACTLY like the canned ones, they're close enough for us. This came from Allrecipes.com (called Blue Ribbon Overnight Rolls). I've always made the dough using a bread machine, so I can't give any feedback making it without the machine. The dough is very easy to work with. EDIT: I just realized this is very similiar to "Recipe #136121", but these ingredients are slightly different and provide bread machine instructions.

    When our grandkids sleep over, we usually watch a movie; they like seasoned popcorn but we pefer the plain old buttered stuff! Thanx to Martha Stewart, we now spend a little quality time in the kitchen as each child "cooks up" a mix before "show time"! All of the variations can be doubled or tripled, depending on the size of the container you plan to use. The Italian mixture should be kept in the refrigerator, as it contains fresh cheese.

    Tortillas are expensive to buy ready made, here, so I went looking for a recipe. These are wonderfully easy, came out perfectly, and freeze nicely as well, what a pleasure. The recipe sounds a bit cumbersome, but actually it was all very straightforward and quite quickly done. Preparation times includes half an hour 'resting' time for the dough.     I found this one at www.stretcher.com while looking for "homemade baking mixes". This recipe comes out rich and fudgy every single time. It's also very easy to put together initially. Prep time is the time it takes to mix a full batch of brownie mix and put it in bags. Putting it in bags is not necessary, it's just something I do to make an easy thing even easier. Please Note: I have changed the Yield. It was 12 bags. I made a batch tonight and got 10 bags. In my neck of the woods, the cost of each bags-worth of mix comes to $0.53, making this the least expensive dessert in my cookbook. I arrived at this price using Hershey's cocoa.
