Recipes from friends of Gooseberry Patch , Heart of the Home (Susan Branch), and other great cooks!
Pretend this is one of those comb-bound spiral cookbooks, right there on the shelf: flour-dusted, grease-speckled, slopped with sauce!
"In my search for the perfect mocha cheesecake, I ended up combining a few of my favorite recipes to create this delicious version. It's as much a feast for the eyes as for the palate!" Submitted to taste of home by Sue Gronholz.
These are easy to make you can do the wonton wraps the day or so ahead and have the sausage mixture made in advance then just 5 minutes before serving you fill the wraps and pop them in the oven. For a lighter exterior I prefer to use Spring Roll wraps. Use your regular pork breakfast sausage. if you wish use Italian sausage or bratwurst
I've never seen Tyler Florence bomb!! Posted this recipe for safe keeping....on the list for Holiday entertaining!!

"If you like butter pecan ice cream, you'll love this cake. Loads of nuts are folded into the batter and toasted pecans are sprinkled over a delectable cream cheese frosting. Irresistible!" Submitted to taste of home by Phillis Edwards.
Sophisticated & elegant is how Susan Branch describes this in her "Summer" book. I would add "divine" and leave it at that! Since I have a huge raspberry patch, I'm always on the look-out for useful ways to put them to work! This is my take-off from Susan's recipe. Cooking time is chilling time.
Susan Branch has the most delightful books (and illustrations) filled with the most interesting recipes and home-making ideas. This recipe comes from her "Summer" book, with a few of my own personal changes. Feel free to switch ingredients, more or less, to suit your own tastes. Cooking time is "pressing" the sandwich.
