GO Notre Dame Tailgating

I love Notre Dame Football. It helps that my DH is a graduate! We go tailgating a few times each year, but we always watch every game on TV. These are all recipes easily made for tailgating, some right out in the parking lot with Touchdown Jesus in the background!

Here's a great, economical snack for those sports fans. It's quick & easy too

From Gooseberry Patch Backyard Gatherings.

Recipe #137291

Here's an easy appetizer to whip up when you're pressed for time. This makes a lot, but these go fast!

Recipe #48120

A one-bite treat that's great for parties, breakfast, or on the go.

Recipe #116923

A tasty appetizer for those holiday parties that is very attractive and easy to make. For an interesting and healthy variation try using turkey bacon, light mayo and spinach as substitutes. I like this recipe because there are a lot of variations that can be made with this very basic idea. I hope you like these as much as my family, they disappeared in 5 minutes flat! Cook time is refridgeration time.

My entire family loves this recipe! My husband got this recipe from a friend at hunting camp, and it is by far a favorite in our home as well as friends and neighbors. It tastes great in soups and salads, and perfect for a grab and go snack! It may sound like it would be oily, but it isn't.

Ohhh this is soooo good. I had this for the first time this past year while tailgating at a ND game!! Thanks to the firefighter (who came with our friend Pat) for this recipe. What a chef!

No. This is NOT the powdered soft drink that kids love. Someone will love it, but I guarantee you that it will not be your kids. Well, one would at least hope!

These "bites" can serve as an appetizer or a light lunch or dinner. Prepare skewers ahead of time if desired.

This is a copy cat recipe from Todd Wilbur and his site. I made these for my husband and I and they are just like the ones from Chili's. So good, I am sure you will enjoy them. It is a little time consuming but worth every second.

Recipe #52064

From Butterball Turkey Company. Great party food.

Simple and fun to make, great to eat! Prep time includes marinating the chicken. Use matzoh meal instead of the breadcrumbs and this is good for Passover as well.

Recipe #27733

I picked this recipe up tailgating with friends at one of the many Notre Dame games I've been to (thanks Adam and Alex, GO ND!!). It couldn't be easier. While waiting for the sauce to cook down, throw the football with your friends and have a few beers!!
