Based on a recipe from Bette Hagman’s, The Gluten-free Gourmet cookbook. She says, “Finally! A flour tortilla for those who can’t have wheat. These are made in the traditional way by flattening and rolling, then cooking on a hot griddle. Use them for enchiladas, burritos, or fajitas. These keep well in the refrigerator or freezer.” You can either use 2 cups of GF Mix recipe #470769 #470769 or use the approximate measurements included in the recipe below under GLUTEN FREE MIX. Got this from The Yeast Connection cookbook. I've been trying to find recipes that are candida friendly. This is great and even includes directions to quickly make nut milk for the pancakes. If you don't have vitamin C crystals, I used aluminum free baking powder (I think 1 1/2 tsp?). You might want to add a bit of stevia to make it sweeter. I tried 2 tsp and it needed more (of the blend). My boys ate it up with powdered sugar on it, but we're not supposed to eat that! Cooking time depends upon your waffle iron.

This french bread is amazing!! It tastes so similar to the wheat containing french bread. Plus it freezes wonderfully!!! It's crusty on the outside, and soft and tender within. It is fabulous alone, or made as little brushetta', using 'Joanne's Creamy Brushetta' recipe(#108383).You can make it from start to finish in about one hour!!

    Recipe #180306

    Recipe #302922

    Recipe #301562

A simple, straightforward gluten free pizza dough recipe. Also egg free! From one of the Mom's that raised me...thanks Alice! Omit the xanthan gum if your mix already includes it.

Finally, tasty nutritious gluten free buns that rise well and taste delicious. I often add spice to the mix that would contribute to the taste of the final sandwich such as a teaspoon of garlic or onion powder or Mrs Dash etc. If you don't have chia add another egg but they rise better and are better for you with the Chia. I got sick of all of my tasty, nutritious sesame seeds falling on my plate so now I toss them in.

found a version of this on a gluten free website. I have been modifying it to make it a bit more whole grain tasting.

    Recipe #298218

I've been searching for a good pizza crust that is both gluten free and yeast free and it hasn't been easy. This one is the best I've had so far. I found this on www.celiac.com and not only is it pretty good, but it's easy too. Makes one 12-inch pizza crust.

From Roben Ryberg's "The Gluten Free Kitchen" These bagels are easy, tasty, and amazingly light!

Waffles are easy to make using a waffle iron. A great addition to a gluten-free diet. They can be made sweet or savoury. Great for a dessert topped with ice-cream and pure maple syrup, or savoury with scrambled eggs. You can add in finely chopped herbs, spices, finely sliced ham , finely grated apple and cinnamon, lemon rind or zest to the batter for some variations, finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes, a little seeded mustard--whatever you fancy really. NOTE: as with all gluten-free flour different blends can absorb more liquid. Add etra milk if required to make batter a spreading consistency. This batter should spread easily with a knife or spoon into your waffle maker. It's a thick batter but spreadable with a knife. My wafflemaker takes about 1/4 cup per waffle.

    Recipe #255050

A good basic white gluten and lactose free bread recipe. I generally find that gluten free breads are best the day of baking. I prefer my GF breads as toast. To keep longer, slice and freeze with small squares of baking paper between each slice to stop them from freezing together. After toasting gluten-free bread place it onto paper towel or paper plate as the toast tends to steam and soften if placed directly onto a prcelain/china plates. Posted by request in forums. This is one of the breads from the cookbook sent to me from the Celiac Society. Measurements are Australian cups - 1 cup = 250mls and 1 tablespoon =4 teaspoons

Found this recipe on line while having a late night craving! Tried them the next day - and I was not disapointed! I no longer have to just drool over Nalesniki at family holiday brunches! I just made these (double recipe) and used the crepes as noodles for GF Lasagna - fingers crossed this works!

    Recipe #246540

Beating air into the batter for the Yorkshire Pudding is the secret for this Gluten Free recipe.

    Recipe #280734

Low carb and Gluten-Free. Makes one at a time and takes just one minute in the microwave.

    Recipe #270845

This cake like corn bread is so delicious, you won't be able to stop at one piece. This recipe is a favorite in my family. It adds a special touch to any lunch or dinner. One of my favorite lunches is soup with a piece of this cornbread. It is just as good and in my opinion better than the wheat containing corn breads that I have tried, before becoming diagnosed with Celiac Disease. It will definelty help add a special touch to your families favourite gluten free dinner!

Tired of seeing recipes for wheat free bread full of things like Xanthan Gum, other allergens and impossible to find flours I decided to make my own. You can find Glutinous Rice flour at any Asian market. THIS RECIPE REQUIRES A COVERED LOAF PAN. It will not come out otherwise - rice needs a lot of wet heat to "activate." If you can not find one (try Ebay) use aluminum foil to cover it tightly. I'm serious - do not bother making this recipe unless you do will this.
