Delicious moist gluten free cake. It's great with cream cheese icing, powdered sugar, or just plain.Plus it stays moist and tasty for days!!I found the cake to be a little bit crumbly, but it was so delicious it didn't matter.I got this recipe from one of Bette Hagman's recipe books.

My Grandmother-In-Law gave me this recipe because so many of our family have celiac disease or are allergic to wheat. I love it so much, that I now use it for all of my pies. If you don't like almonds, you can use any other nuts instead

    Recipe #138940

This is one of my kids real favourites. I'll often throw in more apricots and almonds than the recipe calls for. This is a large loaf and can be reduced in size by multiplying all ingredients by 2/3 and reducing the cooking time by 10 minutes.

    Recipe #122237

My whole family loves this - even the gluten-free hating ones. This recipe makes a large loaf. To make a smaller loaf multiply all ingredients by 2/3.

    Recipe #122236

This is my son's favourite bread. He likes to eat it as soon as it's cooked or as toast the next day. It also makes an awesome salad sandwich. Various mehods of baking are given, choose a method that suits you.

    Recipe #122235

    This cake is gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and vegan !

The orange and cumin flavors give this chicken a real Mediterranean feel. Try to find fresh oregano, it just doesn't work with the powdery dry stuff. If you can't get oregano sprigs, go for thyme or tarragon, but always use fresh.

Green asparagus, pink salmon, creamy new potatoes, bright orange bell peppers. Spring doesn't get any better than this!

    Recipe #116607

A very simple method of cooking asparagus, where they are wrapped in foil and baked, with nothing but a little butter and salt. So easy and yet so delicious!! My 2 1/2 year old daughter liked it too! I've only tried this once and I followed the recipe exactly as set out, but I'd like to try it again, perhaps putting a few sprigs of herbs in with it. You could also try herb butter instead of ordinary butter. You can omit the salt if you like. If you are making larger quantities you might need to make more than one "parcel". You could even wrap each portion separately and serve them in the foil wrappers - I ate mine straight out of the foil, and I think it made them even nicer as they're still steaming hot and in their cooking juices, and you can keep all that flavour and aroma trapped in the parcel until you're ready to eat it! Would make a really good starter served like this. Although I suppose it depends what kind of guests you've got - if they're used to silver platters they might not be so impressed with silver foil!! But I would be! :)

Typical German Rohkost ("raw food"). Healthy, quick and full of flavour.Slightly sweet and refreshing. Eat as a lunch with wholemeal bread or as a light dinner with bread and an additional tomato salad.

    Recipe #114616

I recently purchased “The New American Plate” a wonderful cookbook filled with dishes with sophisticated flavors that are also healthful – lots of lean meats, grains and vegetables. This frittata is my own take on one of my brunch favorites – with autumnal flavors that give another reason to love sleepy Sunday mornings. Though usually served hot for brunch or a light supper, it makes a great snack served at room temperature.

These simple and elegant cheese crisps have been featured several times by Giada De Laurentiis on FoodTV shows.

    Recipe #113296

Every time I eat at CPK, I have to have this salad! I love the tangy dressing, the fresh basil, the crispness of the ingredients. My husband got their cookbook for Christmas one year and I enjoy making it at home occasionally too!

    Recipe #112979

This simple and flavorful recipe was featured on "Everyday Italian" by Giada De Laurentiis. Goes well with other roasted dishes for dinner such as pork and balsamic pears. The saltiness of the Parmesan goes wonderfully with the sweet, mellow flavor of the roasted fennel.

    Recipe #112681

A tasty recipe from "The Brimming Basket," the newsletter of the Pike Place Market Basket CSA. It was adapted from "The New Laurel's Kitchen."

    Recipe #112663

This easy casserole sounds so good and different. The recipe is courtesy Paula Deen.

My aunt used to make these when I was a kid, then I started making them for my kids, and now my DD makes them, they are very rich, you just want to eat a small slice at a time. Cook time shown is actually chill time.

    Recipe #111594

This was so easy to make and tastes delicious. I was also able to use some with some red food coloring to decorate the cake. I have had it written on a piece of paper for a long time.. don't know where I got it, but I needed to make a cake today and remembered this. This makes enough to frost and fill a two layer 9 inch cake, or frost a sheet cake.

This is fresh and crunchy. Almost all the ingredients come straight from the garden. A great use for those surplus cucumbers and tomatoes-you can only make so many pickles, right?! Cook time is chill time.

    Recipe #110813

Easy and yummy. Even my husband who hates cabbage thinks these are great. High in Iron and Protein, and Vitamins A, B, & C. Can also be made in the crockpot instead of oven, just place rolls seasmside down in crockpot, pour in sauce, cover and cook on LOW 8-10 hours.
