Shuler's was a very well known restaurant in Michigan with great food. Now that they are no longer in business, it's nice to have a few of their recipes! Found in March 30, 2004, Detroit Free Press with this quote: "Schuler meatballs are tender, not chewy or crispy. To achieve this, use fresh bread crumbs. A couple slices of tender white bread processed in the food processor should do the trick." I've not made this yet.

Quick and easy dessert for two, which sounds yummy. From Taste of Home's "Cooking for 2" premiere issue. I've not made it yet; posting in response to request.

Mmmm...a refreshing lemony little kick! I see similar recipes here on Zaar but they're not quite like this one. Simplicity is a beautiful thing.

Found this in a back issue of Good Housekeeping. I love lemon and spice together, so I'm sure it'll be tasty. Haven't tried it yet but will soon. Servings, prep and cook time are all the suggestions of the magazine and don't include cooling time.

I love strawberries, and coconut, so this sounds especially good to me. Found in an old issue of Woman's Day magazine. I haven't tried yet but plan to soon.

Newly adopted by me, as of 7-7-05, tried and still experimenting. According to the original poster this is "A wonderful treat anytime!"

Another mushroom recipe I'm looking forward to trying. I'm not sure where I got it originally.

From Macinac Island's famous Grand Hotel comes this "Great Pretender" recipe by Chef Hans Burtscher. I work for AAA and every year they publish a "Great Pretenders" alcohol-free drink recipe booklet. This is my favorite one for this year. Love those cherries! I'm including chilling time in the prep time.
