Colored sugar to top cookies with, or roll them in .. sometimes I use it to top muffins when I make them for kids .. I usually use coarse sugar, and it works well ..

    Recipe #79278

This recipe is quick, easy, dries hard and shiny and tastes good too. I originally got if from Allrecipes.

A creative take on a classic marshmallow treat. As a kid, I loved to help my mom make and decorate them.

    Recipe #199958

Adapted from Kraft, these are super easy no-bake "trees" made from graham crackers and two other ingredients. For every 2 trees you will need 1 whole graham cracker.

    Recipe #263293

I found this recipe in a community magazine & made these with my toddler DD as table decorations for Xmas. A fun activity for the kids, these can be made up to 2 weeks ahead.

    Recipe #275951

This idea was given to me by a fellow Zaarian, Parker's Mom. She wasn't sure of quantities, so I fiddled around with the quantities until I got a combination that seemed good to me. Posted with her permission. :) This stuff really is as delicious as she said! This is such a colorful snack and would be pretty for Easter or a baby shower. Recipe an easily be doubled or tripled. Listed servings are 2-3 pieces each, but will vary depending on size of clusters. Cook time listed is for cooling.

    Recipe #106942

A twist on the old rice krispie treats...with POPCORN!! Easy and delicious. I like to wrap in colored plastic wrap to match the season or occasion!

    Recipe #131042

These are really a confection. Arrange them on your cookie tray at Christmas in tiny cupcake papers, or make them for a birthday party. They are so good and so pretty, and they really do look like little strawberries. You'll be amazed at how good they taste.

    Recipe #211953

This strawberry shaped confection is a tasty and pretty addition to your Christmas trays.

    Recipe #102563

Last year, I prepared Recipe #146204 and thought they were too cute for a winter season treat, especially for little kids and kids-at-heart. However, I found them to be a bit time consuming with the multiple drying times needed. After making and enjoying Recipe #142998 for Thanksgiving this year, I made some changes to the penguins to make them quicker to make - I got all six done in about 30 minutes. As an added bonus, for small crowds like mine, they now use more of the same ingredients as the turkeys, so I can actually use up those ingredients between Thanksgiving and Christmas... after getting the candy corn on sale after Halloween! The shorter work time also helps to prevent the marshmallows from drying out.

    Recipe #347471

A very inexpensive treat for Valentines, Christmas or Wedding treats...really anything that you'd like to show someone you love them. Kids can easily help with this project. We've used both the red/white and green/white peppermint candies. You'll need metal cookie cutters for this recipe. I've had to write the ingredients out for one treat so you'll need to multiply for the ones you'd like to make. This works great in a toaster oven too.

    Recipe #301898

These would be perfect for Valentine's Day or Christmas or a heart/love themed party! Very easy to make! NOTE: 30 minute cooking time is actually cooling time for candies to set. ENJOY!

    Recipe #160780

Fun Spring Treats! Kids love them. Use a 6 or 12 cup muffin tin depending on desired size of nests. We made only 6 nest with this recipe so we could overlap the top and give an "edge" for our bird to sit on. You could serve these right away or wrap them in a pretty cellophane bag and give them as a gift.

    Recipe #280662

Forget the nasty grocery store marshmallows. These are wonderful, kids like to help make them, and they are made of real items in your kitchen. Prep time includes sitting overnight. I found this recipe in "Barefoot Contessa, Family Style"

These adorable angels are made using a pointed sugar cone to make a 3D angel. The recipe is no-cook so it would be a perfect holiday project for your kids and could be even be used as place cards on the holiday table. They would also make cute party favors for a children's party. Recipe from LandOLakes.

    Recipe #140551

This is a yummy and fun recipe that takes a little extra effort, but the reaction from those you give them to is worth is. I made a batch this year for my office - I displayed them by tieing different colored curling ribbon onto the popsickle sticks, then inserting them into floral foam that was dusted with powdered sugar and placed in a 9x13 dish covered in red plastic wrap. Not only are they super cute - but very tasty too! Special note - don't be dismayed if when you pull them out of the oven that they act too soft to adhere to the popsickle stick - once they cool, they are on there tight!

    Recipe #343679

These are so simple to make, they're just pb cookies frosted! You can use candy decorations for buttons, eyes, nose, etc. but Zaar won't let me list just candy. From BHG.

    Recipe #253439

Theses are adorable! They are always a hit at the children's school parties. They are the perfect size for the gingerbread houses made at school, with the small milk cartons!

    Recipe #79533

This recipe came from the Top Secret Recipes site a couple of years ago. It is a really simple kid pleasing recipe

These are good for those on low carb, or low calorie diets, the koolaid makes them sour, leave it out if you only want them sweet.
