This great recipe came from my local paper ages ago. I love making this at the holidays. It's easy to whip up and the kids adore it! I often make it without the butter sauce, but the sauce makes it decadent! This is easy to make ahead of time, just gently reheat the butter sauce when time to serve. Also doubles easily to make in a 13x9 pan.

This recipe was printed in my local paper, The Virginian-Pilot on September 30, 2009. This cookie won 1st Place in the sugar cookie category at the 2009 Virginia State Fair. It was submitted by Danhof VanDyke of Eastville, Virginia. ***Adapted from “All Time Baking Soda Favorites”

Delicious lasagna to use for buffet dinner as a choice of white or red lasagnas. Spice it up to your liking. This is just right for us.

    Recipe #186011

The humble chickpea is low in fat, rich in fibre, complex carbohydrate, and protein, and is a good source of calcium, iron and B vitamins. I'm not a huge fan of canned soups, but they do have their uses sometimes! This sauce could be used with anything, but goes well with chickpeas and new potatoes. Paneer cheese is also delicious. From The Very Easy Vegetarian Cookbook, Alison & Simon Holst.

Another great find on the Kraft recipe site. It takes a little preparation, but well worth the while. Great as a side dish or even just to serve on its own! My family loves vegetables and they certainly love this.
