A copy cat recipe of my favorite Red Lobster Appetizer!

    Recipe #359768

This is one of the many main dishes I ate growing up. It would either be beef steak or venison steak.

    Recipe #276501

These burgers are a real hit with my family and friends. The original recipe came from msn lifestyles section and after some tweaking, I believe I have perfected the grilled burger! Try it and let me know, I have never had a bad comment from anyone, even my picky children. Thanks and ENJOY! P.S. I just tried a little substitution last week..instead of the hot souce, try Chipotle peppers in Adobo sauce.....Excellent option! Great flavor and heat.

I love beef stew. This is my version you can add whatever vegetables you prefer. I love the way the V-8 tastes in this recipe

    Recipe #292046

This is out of a 2000 Cookbook called "Simple & Classic Homecooking". It is noted in the cookbook that this recipe received their highest rating. You can serve it on a bed of couscous alongside mixed salad greens and some fresh fruit for dessert.DH rated it pretty darn good.

Katy's favorite dish! Always a crowd pleaser!

    Recipe #212003

My version of Salisbury steak with a bit of heat. You can omit hot pepper sauce if you are not into heat or have children who do not like spicy food.

This recipe comes from I find cauliflower a rather bland vegetable; however, the addition of curry powder really perks it up.

    Recipe #201700

This is a wonderful broccoli recipe which takes only minutes to prepare once your broccoli is steamed, and may be completely made and refrigerated for up to 48 hours in advance until ready to bake. Add in some cooked crumbled bacon also if desired --- the exact measurements do not really matter with this recipe, you can adjust all ingredients to taste, no matter how much you use the casserole will still be delicious. You will love this!

Old-fashioned soda fountain drinks are almost entirely a matter of history now w/all the new beverage varieties. I still remember them fondly from my college dys when they were already disappearing from sight & long for the spec treat they were "back then". This satisfying concoction was born out of my desire to revisit that genre, but w/greater concern for my "hip health" than I had in those dys. *Enjoy* !

    Recipe #300020

This is a recipe from Simple and Delicious, posting for safe keeping. Here's a crusty, crunchy bread that goes together in minutes and is great with all kinds of pasta dishes!

    Recipe #334452

This is out of the "Take-out-tonight" WW cookbook. It says you can use salmon steaks with this dish. Great served with a refreshing cucumber salad. It's easy to prepare, requires virtually no chopping and is ready in less than 20 minutes. Zaar would not accept Mirin (1st ingredient) so posted it in parentheses.

This is a quick and simple Chicken Enchilada recipe. Don't remember where the original came from, as I have tweaked it over the years into this recipe.

I tried this green bean casserole variation for Easter one year and loved the kicked up flavor from the bacon, wine and soy sauce. I hadn't cooked this casserole in years, but scoured the web, found this recipe and we devoured it! UPDATE: I corrected this recipe to adjust the cooking time and temperature so the recipe could be doubled easily.

I got this recipe from my sister. I serve with a garden salad and garlic bread. It is really rich and creamy. With the pepper and nutmeg I just add a large pinch but I gave actually measurements here to it is to taste.

    Recipe #305324

Speciality of the restaurant Club del Doge at the Hotel Gritti Palace Venice and would normally use green tagliolini instead of fettuccine but fetuccine is more widely available.

    Recipe #297138

This is one of our favorite pot roast recipes! I serve it over egg noodles. I found this recipe in Southern Living February 2005 issue.
