Really! You CAN grow donuts!! This recipe was sent home by my son's K teacher. All my kids loved it! *The Kindy kids colored a picture of doughnuts growing on a tree - the teacher then made a little seed package by stapling the coloring to another paper; she then put some cereal inside (aka Doughnut Seeds) - so cute!

Recipe #189254

Recipe from a friend. Without instant pudding mix. Kid approved! Prep time does not include freezing time.

Recipe #272235

These are so cute--I always make them for the kids when we have sushi. They think they are getting what we have.

You won't really find giant snails in the sea, but some extra-large cinnamon snails might find their way into your tummy!

Recipe #133242

While cleaning out my pantry (ugh, what a chore) I found some wooden bbq skewers that have been replaced by metal ones. What do I do with these? The little wheels in my mind started grinding and I came up with this idea for my Halloween Boo-ffet.

Your kids will fly right home for these delicious after-school nutritious snacks that look like beautiful butterflies. Add a few raisins on each "apple wing" and they transform into butterflies with spotted wings. Spice up the flavor by adding 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon to the peanut butter. From Pillsbury.com

Recipe #142820

Our 5 year old does not like fresh strawberries or blueberries, so I created this little pie with Jello for his lunch box for Patriot Day, Memorial Day or for the 4th of July.

Recipe #252152

From Simple & Delicious, this salad looks like a fun way to get kids to eat their fruit!

Recipe #237852

I get really frustrated with Jello that doesn't set-up. I have made these "fool-proof" jigglers a million times for my kids. It's the only recipe I've used that's firm enough to cut out with cutters. Very easy for kids to make, too.

Recipe #111982

A beautiful way to present your next vegetable platter at any party or potluck. This is fun to make, but will take some practice making the flowers out of the veggies. You can chop and carve the veggies up to 1 day in advance and store them in a bowl of ice water in the refrigerator. Prep time depends on your skill but I had to put something. Serve with a tasty dip.

Recipe #31352

This is a huge hit! It looks so cool when completed!! Its a bit of work, but definitely worth it :-) If anyone makes this and takes a photo, please do post it!!! Prep time really varies.. so please make sure you set aside enough time to make this!!! Cook time is time to chill total. Like I said times really vary so please set aside some time. Requires 1 goldfish bowl (new is preferred hehe.. otherwise.. pleaaaaaaase clean the old one! haha)

Recipe #59654

Let the kids play "go fish" with their food.

Recipe #75726

I got this recipe from my mother and my favorite cookbook, Betty Crocker's Cookbook. These beautiful cookies are always a hit at parties because they look like little bonbons. These cookies are great to make for children, and it's easy to let them help out.

I saw this on someone's blog and I had to get it down so I could try to make it next year...

My hubby loves Ding Dongs so when I saw this recipe in a church cookbook I had to try it. He loves it and it isn't complicated to make. The filling can also be used to make Twinkies. This recipe may easily be made in round layer cakes.

Recipe #130925

A great decorated center piece cake for your fall dinner party. The idea came from a 1998 Crafting Traditions magazine. It is made from 1 9" round yellow cake. The recipe calls for a bought cake mix and frosting, but I don't see why you couldn't make it from scratch. The 1/2 cup of water and egg is what my boxed cake required. Just make cake per box instructions. Thanks goes out to LUv2BaKE for editting the photo. Please read through the directions for all the material. Prep time is frosting and decorating time.
