I was looking for a rub, without sugar.
This one works perfectly on meat, fish or roasted potatoes.
This could very well be the reason DH and I are dieting.....
This is a great combo of spices!! It can be used on just about anything!! (I made fake fries using this rub on potato planks!!)
But also great for poultry!
This is really easy, I got the recipe from a Pillsbury Cook Book. Perfect for a Brunch.
They say it serves 10...but...make it and see how many it serves at your house!!
It has never been a written recipe, but this stuff is great!
I had forgotten all about this recipe...we use to eat it in the 80's when Abalone was so hard to get. Now I believe it has become extinct??
I have no idea where this recipe originated, I've been making it for years. My DH thinks it's one of those 'tough' recipe things...As you can see, EASY but tasty!
I've been making this for years. It's very rich and always a special occasion when this is served!
I'm posting the recipe that I 'lightened' up..it did call for whipping cream.
I also use dairy case pastry (I hate making pie crust lol).
I got this recipe from the Oprah site.
It was created by Art Smith.
This was the Pillsbury Bake Off winner a couple of years ago...it was actually in the Kids division...we love it!!
It makes a huge torte...even though it looks like a half...I have doubled the recipe for large gatherings.
It melts in your mouth!!!
From Cook's Country
This is another recipe from Oprah.
Recipe taken from the Shape magazine.
My garden in being over run with Thyme...
So I started digging up recipes that use fresh thyme. This is one of them!!
This looks very 'rustic' makes rolling out and etc much easier!
Great quick brunch idea.
