You can enjoy the delicious taste of a cheeseburger without having to resort to fast food. These little appetizers are the perfect 'finger food' and can be frozen after baking. (cook time reflected is for two batches; add 15 minutes for each additional batch)

    Recipe #101036

This is a good hearty casserole that freezes well.

    Recipe #260190

This recipe can be easily doubled. This freezes wonderfully and makes a great meal/snack to have on hand. You can also make these and eat them hot out of the oven. This recipe was created for Ready, Set, Cook! #6

    Recipe #116402

This recipe is from Super Suppers, the franchise that allows families to prepare meals ahead of time in their central kitchen. They do the prep, you do the assembly for quick dinners from the freezer. I love flank steak and this sweet/spicy combination appealed to me. The addition of pepper is mine and the way I like this dish.

Kids will love these homemade chicken nuggets. Served with oven-baked wedges and salad, they make an easy meal. Notes & tips: These chicken bites freeze well. They can be frozen before or after cooking.

    Recipe #303735

A great way to freeze garden corn. I use an electric knife to cut the corn off the cobs, and freeze the corn in vacuum bags, but a person could use freezer containers as well. Prep time includes cooling time.

    Recipe #71578

This is from "Company's Coming School Days Lunches." Great to freeze in single servings for a delicious lunch!

    Recipe #181318

From FREEZE IT in "Everyday Food". An elegant recipe for supper from the freezer. Use 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts, if desired.

    Recipe #182463

DH loves this since it has intense flavor but not too hot for children. I adapted this recipe from the At Home with Family & friends cookbook from Cornerstone Television. Woody's restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA managed by the Antonelli brothers, make this recipe. Great served with crusty bread, rice, and a salad.

Another easy recipe you just can go wrong with - freeze ahead or eat right now! Enjoy :)

    Recipe #240528

This is my all time favorite from Ellie Kreiger on Food Network.

Another converted recipe from Cooking light for OAMC use. These are obviously good and like right away and a good alternative to fast food if you want something quick at home.

    Recipe #81115

Traditional British pie, normally filled with steak and kidneys. I hate kidneys, so I omitted them.

    Recipe #17576

This came from One Bite Won't Kill You - a great kid-friendly cookbook. If you prefer to use bone-in chicken pieces, just cook for 1 hour instead.

    Recipe #96742

We adapted this to make it super easy for OAMC and freezing. The portions are for 2-3 servings each because it fits really well in a gallon ziploc bag. You could double it and it would probably still fit. Freezes very well. Plan to make two sets and you'll use up your packages of ingredients. Updated to add: Works well in crockpot - cook on low 6-8 hours. I'm sure it would work great from frozen as well. Also, I've used plain onion soup mix and the taste is still great.

This recipe is great for grilling, baking, or OAMC! I found this recipe on cdkitchen.com. I was impressed by the great flavor. Cooking time provided is for grilling.

Dump recipes are a quick and easy way to make the most of your OAMC day. You can assemble many "dump" recipes quickly and stock the freezer fast.

    Recipe #182177

The theory is you dump this in a bag and freeze to pull out later. There are many variations which I will post separately but it's amazingly easy to make these up and have a different "dump" chicken every week!

    Recipe #107570

Looking for something to eat during the "big game?!" Here's an idea...and it doesn't have to be just for kids! Feel free to let your imagination go to vary the filling! Prep time includes chilling or freezing time...You probably would want to make these the day before serving. (also makes 1 loaf French bread)
