    Fish for Non-Fish-Lovers

I used to hate fish, but I've been teaching myself to like it since it's so good for you. Here are some recipes, largely untried, that sound like they wouldn't be too...fishy.

This is my very own creation, I whipped this up one day quite by accident. I call this Joshua's favorite Tilapia, because my husband (like me) could eat this 7 nights a week if we could. This is the easiest way to cook Tilapia, and if you are watching those calories then you need not worry this is extremely low fat, oh and did I mention TO DIE FOR !!! This recipe is SIMPLE with FEW ingredients, but has the potential to add what ever you want. I like it AS IS !

    Recipe #115660

This dish is loaded with flavor and makes a lovely, colorful presentation. You'll want to serve with plenty of rice to absorb the wonderful sauce. (Noted added 11/05/07: I like to credit original recipe sources when known, but wasn't sure about this one when I submitted the recipe. Fortunately, a reviewer pointed out that the recipe came from Cooking Light, so I searched their site--indeed, it was originally published in their September 2002 issue. Thanks to the reviewer for bringing this to my attention, and thanks to Cooking Light for developing the recipe! :) )

    Recipe #116882

Healthy dish of tilapia, shrimp, and summer vegetables baked in paper. This can be made ahead up until the baking step and refrigerated until you are almost ready to eat. From Fusion By Mark restaurant in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

    Recipe #122468

I like Tilapia especially for its nutty flavors. This is a very easy and fast recipe to roast Tilapia, which brings out all the delicious flavors of tilapia. Serve with pasta, salad or bread.

This fish dish has bold, Mediterranean flavours. It is also gorgeous to look at. Accompany with a good white wine and lots of crusty bread, cause the sauce is unbelievable.

I have adopted this recipe as I have made it quite often, Original into: Made this up one day and it is so good I thought I would post it. I marinated my halibut for 2 hours in Mariel's Amazing Salad Dressing recipe #106449 - this is optional.

    Recipe #107477

I love seafood! This is a great simple alternative to frying! Remember to use FRESH fish, or it will be a little mushy!

    Recipe #120806

Easy fish stew that blends various Mediterranean influences.

    Recipe #140853

This is a really yummy recipe, very healthy, and such a welcome comfort in a country with so little Mexican food. I tried making similar fish tacos before, but I adapted them to be not only yummier, but so much easier to make. Since I first tried making these in my home in Germany, the fish is in grams, not ounces. I believe there's a metric conversion on this site, so try that. If you still can't figure it out, just use a piece of cod that's about 8 inches high, 4 inches across the top, and 3/4 inch thick.

    Recipe #141538

Easy and healthier way to get crispy tasty fish. I have used mostly mild whitefish like tilapia with great results. Don't be scared by the number of ingredients—it is mostly spices and herbs. Please adjust the spices, especially salt, to your taste. I have tried to post a balanced blend here but feel free to adjust mild, spicy, lower sodium etc...

    Recipe #150987

I found many recipes and put the best parts together. A mexican favorite for many. Try them, they are very good! Healthy too!

    Recipe #160314

This is an impressive looking quiche that's easy to personalise to your own tastes. You may like to try red peppers instead of the tomato, add a few mushrooms, maybe some asparagus...you get the idea! I served this with a nice salad, a vegetable side dish and a cheese plate for a nice summer meal.

    Recipe #33454

Delicious quiche! You can easily blanch frozen broccoli florets by simply running it under very hot water for a few minutes.
