This recipe is a combination of a Southern Living Recipe and my Grandmother's recipe. I used short cuts when they worked and this is a recipe that my whole family loves. Even when older kids leave for college, they beg to take some of this with them! All ages love this and the house smells great! Great comfort food! Line your oven with foil paper; there is a lot of filling. Or you can divide it and make one pot pie for now and one for later!

Being Greek born I have tried my share of moussaka recipes over the years, this is a basic easy recipe I have been making for years and still make often, it has remained a huge family favorite, I have served this many times to guests for a dinner parties and always receive rave reviews! ---the traditional Greek moussaka usually has about 1 teaspoon cinnamon added to the meat mixture, you might want to add it in my family prefers it without --- you may also want to "sweat" the eggplant slices with a bit of salt sprinkled on for 1 hour before using

A few months ago I made this great sesame chicken that my mother and I loved.... problem was it was one of those dinners where I added a little of this... a little of that.... and could not for the life of me remember what on earth I put in it!! So after months of tinkering in the kitchen I FINALLY came up with the recipe last night, and wrote down all the ingredients!! Enjoy!

From Sunset cookbook. I love this! It's my favorite pie. You get a lemon curd on the bottom and a thin lemon cake on the top but it pours into the pie crust all mixed up! Please use fresh squeezed lemon juice. If you love lemon desserts, you'll love this!

When I first left home I shared a flat with a chinese girl and this is one of the ways she would cook chicken. The marinade is sticky and yummy and smells wonderful.

Found in response to a request for a bread machine recipe for Ciabatta Bread. I love this stuff. It is one of the best breads I make!

What a cake!! DELICIOUS! Not too sweet - not too heavy - just perfect for Summer! And the glaze is to die for!! Can't wait to make it again! I adapted this recipe from a Family Circle magazine where it was named "The Best Bundt Cake Ever"!! and I believe it's true!!

I found this recipe on-line while looking for South African recipes and it stated: "adapted from South African Gourmet Food and Wine by Rosen & Loon"

Yesterday was my turn to bring snacks to my Cuban salsa class -- the dance that is. After scanning dozens of recipes, I couldn't find what I wanted so I created this one. After watching my classmates tip the bowl, I decided it was worth posting. While the ingredients are familiar, the ratio of tomatoes, beans and corn is quite different from the dozens already here. So easy, its a crowd pleaser.

This recipe comes from a local cookbook called Recipes and Memories of Patrick W. Cox. It's different and tasty. I made a slight change in the ingredients but not much.

    Recipe #272020

My 13-going-on-35 year old son tasted this at a friend's house and actually ASKED me to make salad!! Can you imagine?? Me either. I immediately called the friend's mom and got this recipe. Hope it gets your teens to eat salad too.

This is another Rachael Ray recipe. A great way to get the taste of buffalo chicken without the grease and fat, and a little healthy even!

    Recipe #136881

This could be a light lunch or breakfast.

I know, I know. Everyone claims the best sweet tea around. I only say mine is best because everyone, and I do mean everyone... says so (so far, but now it's posted so that may change). Posted by request. Sometimes we will substitute two of the Lipton tea bags for two green tea bags which gives this tea another wonderful flavor. SOME TEA 'BAG' HISTORY: Tea 'bags' were originally created by manufacturers as 'samples' of their fine teas and given to the distributors to boost sales.

This recipe was given to one of my Uncles 25 years ago from a co-worker. It has been a much requested recipe in our family ever since. One of my favorites. *The secret to the lemony flavor is the thin glaze which sinks into the cake and then hardens and gives it a really nice texture. I love the bottom where the glaze is thickest!

    Recipe #225291

This recipe is from the Rock Bottom Brewery restaurant in Portland, Oregon.

    Recipe #223748

We love this variation of pork tenderloin. It's excellent served over rice. Delicious! The prep time does not include marinating, which is 2 hours. Enjoy!

    Recipe #281775

From Kraftfoods(dot)com website. I made these for a party and I've had so many people request the recipe. Kraft calls for using finely chopped onions but I skipped that just to make it an even faster appetizer to get on the table.

    Recipe #278872

I like to garnish this soup with popcorn, croutons, green onions or bacon bits.

    Recipe #207947

After a glumpie Sunday afternoon, where the remaining leaves precariously fell from the dormant trees, a cool mist had settled in the valley below, the world appeared to me; to have hibernated, here on the farm. I pondered what I might do to enhance the palette and stomachs of everyone who graced our table that evening. Normally, we have a casual get together, the "boys" come over, my Dad ambles over from his house, and the cattle were sleeping peacefully, all rejoicing the cool mist after the hot summer we had just completed. I decided to try something a bit different from my usual fare. Quietly tucked away in the back of the cabinet I found some apricot jam, along with the last bit of some balsamic vinegar. You and I both know, there are a sundry of chicken and balsamic ......out there. I said, "What the hay...." added some fresh thyme, let's see what happens? Melted the jam, vinegar, roast the chicken breasts, baste the jam glaze on top of chicken. What could be easier? I guess just roasting the chicken breasts with nothing, would be easier. That night we sat, enjoyed the company, the laughs from the weekend, the new calf stories, and our family. I hope you feel the same, enjoy whomever your company is, or just enjoy the quietness of alone time, where ever you are, have a good night, and replenish your palette and your soul as well.
