Gazpacho just couldn't be better than this, and so easy to make! I make this recipe with half V-8 tomato juice and red ripe tomatoes from my summer's crop, you can also use just plain tomato juice, but the V-8 is much better lol! Also I use chipotle corn salsa. Use as much Tabasco as desired, for my family the more the better. This soup is so good you will want it all year around! Try to prepare this hours in advance to blend the flavors. I make my early in the morning to serve in the evening. You can even make this up to 24 hours in advance. Don't omit the cilantro and the onion is optional. I usually use roasted red bell peppers from the jar in place of fresh, but fresh will do fine! Do not use Clamato juice for this, there is not enough thickness and your soup will be too thin.

This Gaspacho is special because you add what pleases you.; so refreshing!

    Recipe #169330

Being from southern Spain myself I am always taken aback a little when I see recipes for Gazpacho that ask you to use tomato juice, parsley, sometimes cilantro, hot sauce, etc. I would like to share with you the simple, authentic, centuries old recipe for this fantastic, super healthy, flavorful dish. The one variation that is widely accepted to this recipe is the use of blenders versus the mortar and pestle of yesteryear. I hope you enjoy. Cook's note: I subscribe to South Beach Diet regime so I omit the bread but feel free to add a few ounces to yours if you like

This variation of traditional gazpacho is said to have origins in Andalucia, & the recipe itself was found on the internet & posted here for the Zaar World Tour 5.

This recipe is from Foodtv. It is so simple, yet delicious, it is great for those nights you don't really feel like cooking. It's great with grilled cheese!

    Recipe #38517

Posting this for safekeeping, since I'm postively drowning in recipe clippings and cards. I don't usually like cream soups, but this one I love! Recipe from Wilson Farms in Lexington MA. Servings are a guess.

My sister Jackie made this for the kids.

This is a very simple soup to make. It has a nice rich color and a lively flavor. Serve it with grilled pita bread cut into wedges for dipping. Grilled garlic bread is another great dipper, or Italian bread brushed with extra virgin olive oil and lightly grilled is also a good dipper.

COMFORT FOOD!! Have this special soup anytime of the year. Combine with a sandwich for a meal! The flavor of the tomatoes and cheese, along with the croutons is superb! To get full flavor do use the can of stewed tomatoes. Quick and Easy!!!

    Recipe #273808

I made this soup without a lot of things other cream soups call for for health reasons. In this recipe the vegetables come out thick enough that no flour is needed or heavy creams. If your broth is salted there is no need to add more salt. The flavors of the vegetables come through and is amazing. If I wasn't watching my calories and portions, I could have ate the whole pot.

This is THE most awesome soup EVER! Great for winter nights to chase the chill away and warm you up from the inside out. Not too spicy, just like tomato soup with a kick.

    Wonderful, hearty soup.

    Recipe #184670

A nice winter soup and good with corn bread. This is another way to use small pieces of leftover ham. I do think some meltable cheese would be good in this as some reviewers have suggested. Also, thank you Chef#226863 for suggesting that I include a measurable amount of cabbage. I have also added the ham right away into vegetable /broth too if in hurry. Grated carrots also works well in this, and sometimes grate it right over the pan.

I made WiGal's Creamed Cabbage Soup and then lightened it up a little! You might like to add a tablespoon of low fat cream cheese at the end, to give it a little extra richness. I hope you enjoy!

We love this soup. Its taste is delicious. Enjoy it.

    Recipe #434045

The original was found in the Gooseberry Patch Country Quick & Easy cookbook, but this version is how a friend tweaked it just a tad. It is soooo good! Hint: It only makes six servings if you're willing to share. Four servings is more like it.

Creamy potato soup with a Mexican twist.

This quick and easy recipe is so much better than the canned stuff. Great as a first course, or with salad or sandwiches. Of course, you can use it in your favorite recipes, too. To make it thicker, use less stock and/or use heavy cream instead of the half-and-half cream or milk.

Vegetarian friendly soup that is filling and good for you!
