I make this for my husband and daughter, and I have got nothing but smiles from this. It's easy, cheap and oh so yummy!

    Recipe #252250

This cooks so long that the pork chops just fall apart. We end up serving it over rice as almost a stew. Quick, easy and delicious!

    Recipe #280390

I make this during football season (I double the recipe, but I have a 7-qt crock pot). I prefer my chili with cut up stew meat rather than ground beef. I partially freeze the meat for easier cutting. Don't freak about the crushed corn chips....they just kinda "disappear" and serve as a thickening agent.

One of my favorite Mexican dishes is carne guisada. I combined parts of several recipes and adapted a bit for crock pot cooking. The family likes it even though they always say it's a little spicy.

    Recipe #114816

We love carne guisada around our house. This is a really easy recipe! FYI: I always go to my local meat market and have them cut a good looking rump roast into stew meat. It saves me the time of having to cube the meat myself and that way i get to pick out the best cut of meat. Also, if you like spicy, leave the seeds in one or two of the jalapenos. **UPDATE- I have recently improved this recipe to a point that I almost removed some of the original parts from what I had posted. Instead, I am adding options for the meat and cooking method. Please let me know which method you used if you rate this.

This is the easiest way to cook an authentic Mexican Barbacoa instead of cooking it in the traditional way in Mexico with the head wrapped in large banana leaves and three layers of burlap and then placed in a deep hole in the ground, just like the Hawaiian Pork Luau.

    Recipe #410825

Tender, moist and easily cut off the bone chicken. My family loved this chicken. The spices are very flavorful. When I made this I cut my onion into 4 quarters. I recommend wearing gloves when rubbing the chicken and when putting the chicken in the crockpot as your hand do get messy. I also cooked my chicken for 4 hours and high and it was perfect. I found this recipe on Pinchin Your Pennies.

Borrowed from "susan". The prep time and such are estimates. You can cook it longer than the directions specify, but it will likely fall apart as you're trying to take it out of the crock pot.

    Recipe #275225

This very easy recipe is great for a busy workday... just throw it all in the slow cooker in the morning, and have a wonderful hot and yummy sit-down dinner that night! I use frozen chicken breasts and add 2 cans of soup for lots of sauce. I make extra for a great work-day lunch for the next day. Enjoy!

    Recipe #140915

Serve with a Green Salad, Bread and Wine, such as, Pinot Noir or Zinfandel for a perfect meal. Cook time is 5 to 9 hours.

    Recipe #58210

Fast and easy to throw together in the morning, and sure to please if your family loves Mexican!

    Recipe #473649

This satisfying slow-simmered chili features chicken, two kinds of beans and crunchy corn. It's quick, easy and tastes great. My DD especially enjoys it - she practically licks her bowl clean. Before serving, I like to take about 1/2 - 3/4 cup of the beans from the soup and puree them in a blender with a little of the broth. Then stir back into the soup for a thicker chili. I often serve it with Recipe #272212.

    Recipe #276968

This is a meal that is great to come home to. It's really yummy! We like it served over fettuccine pasta noodles. It tastes much like fettuccine Alfredo. You could probably serve it over rice or mashed potatoes. Occasionally, I will add some steamed broccoli to get a another vegetable in.

    Recipe #36067

Chicken and moist rice, made in just a few minutes...enjoyed hours later!

    Recipe #343941

A easy to throw together in the morning, ready when you get home meal. I use chicken thighs instead of breasts because they tend to stay moist and do not get overcooked & dry if you come home later than planned. I call for brown rice, but am planning to try wild rice. I would not use white rice, as it may get too mushy.

I'm going to be using this a *lot this fall and winter. Two and a half hours in the old crock pot followed by a 10-minute broil gives me perfectly roast chicken every time

I liked this spicy and good recipe for Barbecue Chicken Wings. All Recipes - Submitted By: Jean Ann Herritt - (Adapted from Taste of Home Magazine.)

This is so simple and quick to do and you will have the most moist turkey breast to just slice and serve. The skin even browns in the crock pot. I like to make gravy and serve this as hot turkey sandwiches. This includes a simple tasty way to make the gravy.
