My deli carries a yummy baked potato salad. I asked them what was in it and they told me. I had some leftover baked potatoes that I needed to use so I tried making it and it was a BIG hit at my house. It disappeared before I got it to the dinner table...lol !
This dish is similar to some versions of Chicken Verde. I checked the recipes here and there were none quite like this one which I created several years ago. This is a real hit with my family. If you want more 'heat' just use a hotter Salsa Verde.
This is just as good as any Chinese restaurant! ---one tablespoon of hot chile paste will give you a medium-high heat, if you prefer a less spicy flavor then reduce the hot chile paste, this is very hot! I would strongly suggest to double the sauce ingredients or use 2 pounds of chicken and double the sauce x4. Add in some baby corn, mushrooms, peas or other veggies if desired. This can also be made using thinly sliced beef in place of chicken
This is great for my family because there aren't very many of us and sometimes a roast is just too much. Soup is always a popular option here, and is a great way to warm up on a cold day. You could also use leftover steak in this, sliced thin.
From Simple and Delicious - boy I love this magazine! Submitted by T. Perrault. I love how she combined cauliflower, broccoli and zucchini within this recipe. Just a lovely combination. Feel free to use already prepared Alfredo sauce or your own recipe for Alfredo sauce. I made this once as a side dish and realized it makes a large amount, so then the next time I added some cooked chicken to make it a main meal. Serve with crusty bread and you are done!
I made this up one day when I needed a side and my husband and I were trying to eat more low carb. It is so good! My whole family loves it even my "real" potato salad freak in the family! Cooking time does not include time to chill.
Tired of using ground beef the same old way? Try this spicy dish! Feel free to double the sauce if you like it really saucy! Update: the hoisin sauce is quite sweet, so you might start off with just a little and work your way up!
When I first read the words "Cheeseburger Soup" on the menu of our local deli - my thought was YUCK! This was the special every Friday! Well one Friday I decided to broaden my taste buds and give it a try! It was sooooo good! Being the cook that I am, I just knew I could make this on my own. So here is my version and If I do say so myself - "it's better than the deli's" but shhhh....don't tell them!!!!!
