The name brand is expensive but this is an inexpensive alternative and less harmful to your clothes than bleach!

    Recipe #32716

I'm so picky about clean, streak-free windows and mirrors, and this stuff is great. With the ammonia and rubbing alcohol, this has disinfectant properties. I have spray bottles of this in each bathroom, great for a spritz and wipe of the sink and toilet each morning. I also have my toilet brush sitting in a crock with this for a quick swish.

    Recipe #92194

I think this is quite an old recipe, it's been used in my family for a long time. I like it because there are no chemicals, it's inexpensive and it smells good! This can be used as an air freshener or as a personal freshener on a hot day. Try spraying your poor hot feet after a hot day of shopping. I use it to spray on my hands after dishes or housework, the vinegar is a natural skin softener.

"Tap into an ancient lineage of the Christmas celebration with the use of this delightful oil blend." Outpost Natural Foods.

    Recipe #278306

Drive away pest with this simple formula! From Jerry Baker's Backyard Problem Solver.

    Recipe #151735

You can use fragrance oils for this and or change the fragrances to the ones you like. Standing time is not included in the prep time.

This is very easy to make and so inexpensive. I prefer Clairol Herbal Essense because it is thick so it makes more, plus it smells really nice. One 12 ounce bottle of conditioner will make 12-24 bottles of Leave-In Conditioner, depending on how much you add. You need to use distilled water to prevent spoilage/bacteria growth.

    Recipe #105819

This breakfast will balance your blood sugars and provide a sustained release of energy. The 7-Up, now that it does not have high fructose corn syrup any more, will give you a temporary boost of energy to help get you going and the rest will keep you going. Don't forget to take a B Complex vitamin and 1 gram of vitamin C along with your breakfast.

    Recipe #297982

This is a miracle recipe for getting rid of those pesty ants that come every spring and summer. Mix up the solution, pack cotton balls in a jar cover, and put the solution on and they will be gone.

    Recipe #203233

I work in an office with 5 doctors and as you know, doctors are always washing their hands which makes them dry. We make this lotion for them and they LOVE IT!! **UPDATE 3/31/09: I use 4 oz. of Vaseline petroleum jelly, it would not let me enter it on the ingredients part and for the Vitamin E, you can use lotion or cream, whatever you like or can find. I also tried the NEW cucumber melon baby lotion....AWESOME!!, husband and son liked it but I still like the regular pink the best. I ONLY use J&J baby lotion because it seems to work the best. Thanks to everyone who has given me reviews....

    Recipe #143640

A safer alternative for those people who feel that petroleum jelly is a must! This can be cut in half

    Recipe #269495

In ancient times, when clean water was scarce, olive oil was used to cleanse the skin. This is great for those with dry skin. From Janice Cox's book, Natural Beauty at Home.

    Recipe #42017

Be sure to only buy pure essential oils, not blends or perfumes. This smells so good and will soothe your youngin'.

    Recipe #162219

Sink yourself into this velvety bath and enjoy! This makes a wonderful Christmas gift for someone special.

    Recipe #199459

I got this formula from recipegoldmine.com. (Never use these essential oils undiluted on the skin.)

    Recipe #185391

This easy cleaner helps keep wooden cutting boards freshened and sanitized. The lemon and essential oil sanitize the board while the abrasive action of the salt cleans it. If you use your cutting board for raw meat, get into the habit of doing this after each use. Never use the same cutting board for fresh fruits and vegetables as is used for raw meat.

    Recipe #197402

This soak will leave your hands (or feet) silky soft and slightly scented with cinnamon.

    Recipe #197401

This works great on teen skin or on those of us who are young at heart but get old enough to get a giant pimple right in the middle of a wrinkle!

    Recipe #199162

Delicious scent and fantastic for exfoliation. Wonderful gift in a tightly capped jar -- shelf life is 1-2 weeks refrigerated.

    Recipe #197416

This is an old remedy for those painful little ulcers you can get in your mouth. My little sister used to get them every time she ate spaghetti, poor baby, and that was her favorite dish.
