Saw this and just had to try it! Sounds perfect for the summer! From Bobby Flay - (**My Note: It is possible to substitute the rum for rum flavoring (or extract) - I'd say 1 drop, maybe 2, depending on your taste.**)
'Pamper your guests by serving these luscious smoothies in long stemmed glasses with a chilled ice tea spoon. Add some fresh fruit and homemade granola to make a memorable morning meal.' Taken from "Simply Sarasota Creatively Casual Cuisine" by the Junior League of Sarasota.

Personaly, I think that a banana or pineapple, thinly sliced would be wonderful, in between the tortillas or maybe served under the ice cream for an added treat.
Either way, they are bound to be good.
Always inspired by the internet and what I read, TRUE!
This one is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO simple, easy to do!
NOTE: I used an egg ring, which makes the burgers 100 grams (when cooked) for 2**, (made 18 burgers!!!)
Served on a bed of greens, caramelised onions (with spritz of balsamic) and homemade roasted peppers, this gets the WHOO HOO!
NOTE: Original recipe
*** For my food lifestyle with the other foods on the plate, is more than enough re a portion; for a male 150 grams may do too! :)
This is a wonderful dinner-party dish...In the spirit of lightening up my recipes, this one still tastes great using less butter and either half-and-half or fat-free half-and-half in place of the heavy cream.
This is a wonderful...easy bread...and you can add to it easily...try adding crisp fried bacon, pepperoni, cheddar cheese or hot peppers...(do so in moderation) What makes this bread special...(you soak the cornmeal in the milk for 15 min. without stirring...to get rid of the grittiness)...makes a lovely mellow bread
This was in Taste of Home and while the contributor's name wasn't given she said: "My husband is a former member of the Air Force's Thunderbird team, and I developed this recipe after he invited the whole team to our house on short notice for an informal dinner. It was very easy-it was done in 45 minutes, and it turned out to be the best oyster stew I'd ever made!"
I got this off another on-line recipe site and it looks so good I wanted to be sure and save it as this is the only site I really use. It's credited to a "QUIRKYIQ" and she states "the crispiest, spiciest, homemade fried chicken I have ever tasted! It is equally good served hot or cold and has been a picnic favorite" My whole family LOVES a good fried chicken so can't wait to try it out.
