This quick and easy recipe was my winning entry in RSC #5. This dish is colorful and a southwest spin on pizza. It is very spicy with the chipotles and the jalapeño cheese. I served it with a green salad and simple dessert. Update: Since several reviewers were having trouble with the crust, I tried this again & agree that two cans of crescent rolls would be an improvement in order to not stretch the dough so thin. I have also made this on a pizza crust & into quesadillas and liked those options too. I hope you enjoy my spicy creation!
This grilled dish, made with sweet potatoes and zucchini, gets its wonderful flavor from balsamic vinegar. It's easy to cook because you just pop it all into a foil packet. The amounts of vegetables can easily be increased for more people, since it has plenty of juice. I also enjoy making this with regular potatoes! This was created for RSC #6.
A twist on the shepherds pie. AHHHHHHHHH Sweet Comfort food! This is made with sweet potatoes and ground turkey and a good hint of curry!Good to make with your leftover Thanksgiving sweet potatoes and turkey. You can even put a layer of stuffing in, top with some pecans.....
This a easy bread machine loaf full of fruit and nuts. It's very good served with whipped honey butter or toasted and spread with cream cheese.Don't let the sweet potatoes keep you from trying this recipe.
This is very similar in taste to whole wheat bread, so if you like wheat bread, you're sure to enjoy this. Make this easily in your bread machine. The chile honey is sweet, and lightly spicy, perfect for bringing out the flavors of the bread.
A nice variation of stuffed zucchini drizzled with a sweet balsamic glaze. This recipe could work as a first course, main dish or side, whatever you're in the mood for! This recipe was created for the Ready, Set, Cook! contest.
Great company fare but simple and quick enough for everyday! It's a side dish. It's an appetizer. It's a main dish. It's excellent anytime and anyway you serve it! (Well I guess some might argue that, since this really might not be a good breakfast but....to each his or her own!)
