My daughter and her friends were playing around in the kitchen one night while waiting for a rented movie to rewind, and came up with this gem. Don't make it too soon before the movie, it won't last!

    Recipe #14710

I got this recipe from FamilyFun magazine and have used it on numerous craft products. The texture is so smooth, totally non-toxic, and not sticky like other papier mache recipes.

KIDS LOVE THESE!!! So much cheaper and easier than the kind you buy at the store.

A fun way to liven up that ever-present kids' food. Great for bad weather days, cranky kids (or moms!), birthday parties, or just because. My daughters think I'm really cool when I make these for them. :o)

    Recipe #78834

This a great recipe to make with kids and for kids. I sent these along with my daughter for her Valentine's Day party. There are many students with allergies, such as milk, wheat, and nuts, and this was a treat they could all enjoy! Cook time is chill time.

These really cute sailboat sandwiches can be made with either tuna salad or peanut butter. I added a carrot "life preserver" and a small slice of zucchini for a steering wheel for the tuna boat. I also added a fruit loop "life preserver" and a wheel pretzel for a steering wheel on the peanut butter boat. Tip: For party food, place boats on a platter of crisps or potato chips to give a "wave" effect, and use leftover pieces of cheese to make shark fins, and sprinkle with some colored goldfish.

These are a bit freaky looking! Great treats for Halloween or a fun afterschool snack that is MOSTLY healthy.
