This came from rummaging through my friend's fridge & cupboard when I was staying in Canada recently. Everyone was shocked when I put maple syrup into a marinade, but it tasted great - even the kids loved the results. Works very well with pork and chicken.
This is a variation of the fabulous Recipe #107570. My boys like their food a bit on the tame side. Makes 4 bags. Tip: I remove the skin from all the chicken at once. I wear disposable plastic gloves and grab the skin with a paper towel. It is much easier to pull off and the gloves keep your hands from freezing.
I found this online when I was looking for new ways to cook chicken leg quarters, and the menfolk at my house loved it. I love the way it fits into my budget. Although I have not tested it yet, I see no reason why you couldn't make this a dump recipe for OAMC. I have also used the leftovers for some yummy fried rice.
A not quite sweet but not really spicy glaze to throw on tenderloins or chops. Ive made this without the dry mustard (didnt have any) and it tasted great! You can also broil instead of grilling with no problems.
This recipe came to me by way of the February 2005 Zaar recipe adoption. Don't let the amount of vinegar concern you. The finished product does not have a sour taste at all, and I was quite pleased with the recipe. The only changes I made were to reduce the amount of salt and increase the amount of chicken, as the marinade makes a substantial amount. If you choose to halve the recipe, I would recommend using the full amount of the marinade ingredients to keep the flavor in balance. Note: edited 3/19/07 to add freezing instructions for OMAC.
These take time because of the long marinating time, but are well worth it. They are to die for if you love ribs! I didn't include the marinating or cook time in the preparation time and only included the actual time boiling & grilling in the cook time, but because of the long marinating time, you'll need to do start these the day before you want to prepare them.
I had got Emeril's Essence recipe off here and need a quick tasty grilled chicken recipe. couldnt find one here that didnt need to be maranated for 3+ hours so I kinda came up with this. It's awsome in my opinion try it and let me know.
This marinade gives the chicken a fresh flavor. Easy to make and quick. Don't over cook the chicken but make sure it is done. The recipe makes 3/4 cup of marinade enough for 6 breasts or whole legs or 12 thighs/drumsticks. When you grate or zest the lime use the whole lime peel
