A cool refreshing summer drink that can be made at any time you have lemons... or limes! Beats any store-bought lemonade recipe hands down. This is a good basic recipe to start with, but with everyone's taste preference when it comes to lemonade, (sweet lemonade verses a tart lemonade) I think one should add ingredients that suits their taste buds. I will definitely use this over the summer!!

Allergies are sooooo annoying! Can I hear a amen? But seriously as soon as spring comes around for me its terrible and the sneezing, itchy/watery eyes, and asthma comes on strong. I am literally allergic to almost everything under the sun: grass, weeds, trees, flowers, etc. Luckily I’m not allergic to dogs that would be heartbreaking. This year since being on a more natural journey I wanted to find a natural allergy relief. Well that, and my allergy medicine ran out and I didn’t want to buy more so I started looking for a natural solution. There are more natural solutions than this but this is what I have tried so far and what works for me.

This is Dr. Oz's recipe for a powerful metabolism-boosting drink. According to Dr. Oz, green tea is shown to boost metabolism 12% by drinking just one cup; tangerine contains a chemical composition that increases sensitivity to insulin and stimulates genes that help to burn fat, and mint is a calorie-free flavor enhancer. Drink 1 pitcher daily for maximum metabolism-boosting results. I believe this can't hurt and can only promote good health. 5/2/13 Again, the recipe is meant to be a metabolism booster and because it's not loaded with sugar or sugar substitutes it will not be a sweetened drink. It's aim is health benefits and hoped it will judged as such.

From I LOVE the new Lipton Diet Green Tea, Citrus flavor. But I can go through a 12 pack in a HURRY. Although 50 cents a bottle doesn't seem like that much, it can REALLY add up when you drink as much of it as I like to  I searched for a copycat recipe and found this one on the Top Secret web site. I actually haven't made this recipe, because I couldn't find the True Lime at my grocery store. I did find True Lemon with the artifical sweeteners, and have posted the recipe I made using it also, recipe#261778. I hope to find the True Lime at another grocery store and make this exact recipe as well! ***Recipezaar recognizes True Lemon, but not True Lime. This recipe should have True Lime Crystals instead of True Lemon crystals***

Recipe adapted from Todd Wilbur's version of McDonald's Shamrock Shake I used to absolutely love it when McDonald's brought out their Shamrock Shakes around St. Patrick's Day. The past couple of years I haven't been able to have it because of the dairy, so I was thrilled when I found this copycat recipe! Just use the soy ingredients to make it dairy-free.

I found this on after searching for an alternative to all the nasty chemicals in store-bought liquid coffee creamer. The recipe calls for condensed milk... if you truly want to go homemade all the way, search for recipe #477375 (Homemade Condensed Milk!) and use that. Also, there are multiple flavor options available to add to the base, see the directions for the options.
