This recipe is inspired by a number of different recipes I have tweaked according to my tastes. I love it every way you can imagine, on ice, in milkshakes, and even recently made in to my EXTREMELY homemade Baileys Irish Cream Ice Cream. Delicious
The grapes at the bottom of the glass provide a surprise element, and the bright green mint adds a splash of color to this refreshing drink. You can use other types of grape juice, such as Concord, for the white grape juice. (Cooking time is to freeze grapes)
This recipe features Licor 43, a delightful Spanish liqueur dating back to ancient times. Licor 43 contains 43 different flavors to make the taste indescribable. This martini truly depicts the best Key Lime Pie you've ever tasted!
This is my adaptation of a drink served at Applebees. It is so easy and cheap. The recipe I wrote is for a single 10-oz drink, but feel free to adapt to make a pitcher (or two :-) The brands don't really matter but these are my personal preferences that I wanted to remember. And feel free to add whatever fruit you like! Best if served chilled of course!
Need a simple cocktail for a hot day when the thought of lemonade makes your mouth water? Try this one. You start crafting this new signature blender drink by making lemon syrup from scratch from lemon juice, sugar and water. Track down some limoncello--an Italian Lemon liqueur--and Smirnoff citrus vodka. Now you're just a press of the blender button away from being refreshed. I borrowed a friend's cookbook entitled Top Secret Restaurant Recipes 2 and wanted to put this recipe here so that I wouldn't lose it. Recipe created by Todd Wilbur www.TopSecretRecipes.com.
This is a great summer party beverage! Perfect for sitting around the veranda with guests. Pleasing enough for all different tastes, including those who do not drink. Pairs wonderfully with a backyard barbecue. The idea behind the drink was a quick Mojito for a crowd, without all the work. If you want to make a pitcher change the servings to 6.
these are delicious, and my grandchildren love making them. This is my version of another recipe. You may use diet V8, and light orange juice instead of regular.. try it also made with lemon juice in place of orange juice. Both are great!(If you prefer the alcoholic version.. add rum.. both light and dark..) But we prefer non alcoholic...You can find grenadine in the low carb version on the net.
Remember Lara's little kitchen in the country town in Dr. Zhivago? I believe that this is how that kitchen must have smelled --spiced tea brewing in the warmth while the cold winds rage outside. Recipe from Whole Foods.
