For those of you who hate poison-type drain cleaners, use white vinegar and baking soda. This will clean and unclog a drain. Also drops of white vinegar in your pet's water will keep away fleas and ticks!

    Recipe #16470

Found this on a MYO cleaners website and love how cheap it is to make! It's so easy to make, too! I keep mine in a quart sized jar and it takes up so little room on my shelf.

I used to make this for my daughters when they were little. It's non-toxic and the gunk washes out easily. Adults have just as much fun, if not more.

An inexpensive alternative to the store-bought variety. To check for color-fastness: test a bit of cleaner on an inconspicuous area of the carpet before using the first time.

My wonderful Auntie Karen(Chef Yogi) has been so generous and kind to me. She sent me over half a dozen awesome essential oils which is something I have been wanting for so many months!! She sent me this wonderful easy recipe that was listed on www.make-stuff.com I have just finished making this and using it in my horribly dirty sink and now, I have the most clean and glowing sink I have ever seen in my kitchen! Nobody would believe I haven't used even a little Vim or Jif tonight to clean my sink if they saw it. Something so easy as this, and using just 4 ingredients is a true winner and a sure keeper in my book. Hope this will make you as happy as it made me! I am going to use this as long as these oils last!;) In my opinion, this would make a nice gift to give a would-be bride or your best friend for that matter or your neighbour or mom or MIL. Whoever you gift this to, is going to love you for it! ENJOY!

This is great for sinks, showers and even hands. My husband fixed our roof and his hands were full of tar. He used this and the tar "melted off!" He said it was better than the hand cleaner mechanics use to get the oil off their hands! It shines my stainless steel sink, it doesn't scratch my stovetop and it is awesome on the tub. Best of all it is easy and cheap! I found it on a make your own cleaner website and it works!

I'm so picky about clean, streak-free windows and mirrors, and this stuff is great. With the ammonia and rubbing alcohol, this has disinfectant properties. I have spray bottles of this in each bathroom, great for a spritz and wipe of the sink and toilet each morning. I also have my toilet brush sitting in a crock with this for a quick swish.

I believe this originally came from Heloise. I always lose it so I thought posting it here was a good idea.

I use any shape cookie cutter, the dogs can't tell the difference! They just love the taste! Any flavor baby food will work...veggie, meat, etc.

I made these one year for a fundraiser bake sale for the local animal shelter... I figured, it's a bake sale, why not animal treats? They're not hard to make, and your pooch will love them. NOTE: these are not intended as people food.

Found via Google in reply to a request. Rinse agent is the blue liquid you add to your dishwasher once a month. Jet-dry is the most popular brand but Cascade also makes one.

    Recipe #76082

We have cats and dogs and once a month I ”treat” the house using this. I use mostly lavender and rosemary oil but also like lemongrass or peppermint. They say that using lavender and rosemary it not just refreshes but it keeps away fleas and moths. I think that makes sense because I make soap that I use on our dogs and that also uses rosemary as one of the ingredients. If you have friends that like Potpourri as a gift they will also like this.Once you have made this and like it, try to buy the rosemary and lavender in bulk.
