One of my favorite dips from Daniel Webster on Cape Cod!

Recipe #163648

From a copycat web site. Delicious! Can use imitation crabmeat.

This was in the food section of our newspaper and is credited to "Come On In: Recipes from the Junior League of Jackson Mississippi." The taste combination is delicious. Serve with tortilla chips.

Recipe #216967

This is a delicious dip that my mother has made for years! It disappears really quickly at parties, and even just between me and my family! Wheat Thins are what we like to dip in it!

Recipe #31420

The employees at Pizza Kitchens rate this number one! What's not to love with the crunch of the jicama, corn chips, and lettuces; the explosions of different flavors with every bite; and the contrast of the sweet-and-spicy barbecue sauce with the cool ranch dressing...mmmm...mmmm!

I tried this last Christmas and it was a real hit. The men in particular really raved about it - maybe it was the beer?

Recipe #178154

This simple recipe was given by Frank Alviso, an enthusiastic fan of Mexican food.

Recipe #169443

Tasty cheese dip served in a round loaf of rye bread. The difference is the beer added at the last minute that makes this dip smooth and lighter than others. Taken from the "From Storebought to Homemade" cookbook. Note cooking time is "standing" time. Haven't tried it yet, but plan to!

Recipe #214875

Classic and easy salsa verde that can be thrown together quite quickly. Great for cooking as well as dipping. Don't mistake the ease of the recipe for lack of flavor, as real spice lovers will appreciate the simplicity in taste! I am VERY generous with cilantro and also like to keep many of the seeds. Hope you enjoy! Yield is approximate.

Flavorful dip from Cooking Light. Serve with toasted baguette slices or warm pita wedges.

Great dip to serve with toasted pita wedges, veggies, or chunks of grainy bread. I have friends who prefer this to "real" hummus.

Recipe #71609

Perfect on freshly sliced baguette bread. Great party appetizer.

Recipe #201471

Named in honor of the friend who introduced this recipe to me. It wouldn't be a party without Kitty's dip. I usually use a little more parmesan. I've also used the oscar meyer prepackaged bacon bits, which makes it much easier to prepare (and you get to eat it sooner!). There is never any left over. (In the photo, I used part of the bacon in the dip, then shaped it into a football shape and used the rest of the bacon bits on the outside as a coating. It was a hit at the superbowl party!)

Recipe #214123

This is a great salsa recipe. It takes a little more time but it's worth it! My friends compare this to Baja Fresh's dark salsa. This is a bit thicker and spicier though. Great on fish tacos or with tortilla chips.

Recipe #212071

This is a quick and easy spread. Make up to 2 days before needed. I got this recipe from my sister. Where she found it, I don't know. I make this recipe for parties, family gatherings, and picnics.

Recipe #21839

Good for Vegetarian appetizer, snack. If you like black beans and avocado this is a winner!

Recipe #35621

I love this dip, possibly more than caramel dip! HOWEVER, it seems I have limited it's possibilities by implying that it should be reserved for apples solely from the recipe's title. That is not the case!! WHY should you try this dip? Well the marshmallow and cream cheese dip is great, but I believe it's the cinnamon that really sets it apart!! I think you could put the ingredients on a long list of things, but I'll let you use your own creativity for that. I prefer it with very tart apples, such as Northern Spy or Granny Smith, but have used it with all sorts since dh likes sweet and softer apples. It is very good and very easy and can be prepared in advance, such as for parties.

Recipe #72207

The original title of this recipe is Cheddar and BEER dip but, in honor of the 2007 NFC Champs, the Bears, the name was changed by the Chicago Tribune in their Good Eating section. Originally found in 'The Complete Idiot's Guide to Fondues & Hot Dips', this is perfect for Superbowl game day, well, at least in Chicago it is!! The orange of the dip and the blue of the chips will be perfect at a Superbowl party (in which the Bears are playing, of course). GO BEARS!!!

Recipe #208860

It sounds delicious, but I might never know for sure since we don't get frozen concentrates.

Recipe #199566

I've tried a ton of different recipes to make guacamole that I would really enjoy, but the only thing I'd come up with was "OK". I found this recipe on, a site devoted soley to Chipotle restuarants, the recipe is awesome! I've honestly never had guacamole at Chipotle so I don't know how well it compares, but reguardless, this stuff is great!
