Great flavor and so easy to make. It's best to let it sit in the fridge overnight. The cayenne definitely adds some spice, so use sparingly if you wish.

    Recipe #267714

One of the Mexican restaurants had this. It was wonderful.

    Recipe #149509

A great recipe to use when you need something a little different to serve than just dips and cheeses. Preparation time includes chilling in this recipe.

    Recipe #269143

Make your guests feel welcome with this appetizer. Recipe courtesy Paradise Gateway Bed and Breakfast and Guest Cabins of Montana.

    Recipe #269318

This stuff is amazing and simple!

    Recipe #225400

One of the easiest, yet one of the most addicting dips.

    Recipe #247669

This little recipe is great for picnic lunches or dinner parties. Made with 3 ingredients, it is simple and good. Just toss in a loaf of artisan bread to pull and dip with and you are set!

    Recipe #223703

Handmade Breadsticks for Dips. These are wonderful.

    Recipe #274424

This is a mild salsa that you can heat up with how ever many peppers you wish to add. The cabbage absorbes the flavors of all the other ingredients. This is a great party food. Cook time is the chilling time.

    Recipe #37237

This is my holy grail of recipes. I have tried for 12 years to sneak this out of this hole in the wall restaurant a stones throw from Cowboy Stadium. I have paid 2 cooks to sneak it out...both of which got fired before the recipe made it to me, and have spent 10's of dollars getting waitresses, hostesses and anyone else affiliated with the place tipsy for information. Well finally one night when I was spending quality time with Bampa at a bar named Studer's I sang his favorite patsy cline song and who should walk up, correction... stumble up, run into the jukebox, and then throw her arms around me but the head waitress. I quickly turned the conversation to the guacamole and she stopped me and said.."Sarah! I know you been lookin' for that thing for a longtime, and I dunno the recipe but I see em' make it everday so I'll tell you the secret! The use avocados, oil, and vinegar....thats all. No magical ingredients like you've gotten into your head. Now where's your momma and your auntie, baby?" AND IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW! So here is yesterday's batch, and I'm going to keep trying every Sunday until I get it right. Next week I'm trying Tarragon Vinegar. But Dereck loved this recipe too.

    Recipe #249392

A simple but very tasty recipe from Tex-Mex Recipes which is filled with recipes from all sorts of sources. We like this as a dip for tortilla chips but mainly use it as a topping for chicken or pork

    Recipe #231702

I love Chuy's dip and wanted a recipe. I took all the recipes I could find, bought some of the real stuff and made a bunch of batches. This is the closest i could get. No one can beat the real thing. You can adjust the jalepenos according to your taste. Also if you want a smoother texture, everything can be thrown in the blender after step 1. The longer is sits, the hotter it gets.

    Recipe #182136

This colorful side dish features corn, black-eyed peas, green peppers, and red onions, simply dressed with Pace Chunky salsa. It tastes VERY similar to some black bean and corn salsas. IT DOES FREEZE AND DEFROST just fine. There may be some extra liquid but you can just pour that right out.

    Recipe #237882

A quick and easy way to get ready for your party! In addition to sandwiches this flavorsome spread makes a pretty appetizer on top of crackers. Cutting the sandwiches into quarters will yield 24 servings.

    Recipe #260183

Excellent salsa dip. Everyone will want the recipe.

    Recipe #226540

My Father and Mother owned the 49th Street Del Rancho in Oklahoma City, and this is their all-time, "world famous" dressing. Use it on salads, dips for veggies, deep-fried mushrooms, whatever!

    Recipe #13123

This is better than any store-bought dip I have ever tried. I use light cream cheese, but feel free to use regular for added richness.

    Recipe #222773

This recipe uses dried green chile and fresh green chile. If you can't find the dried green chile, just make it a "whammy" dip. Use pure green chile powder (no additives). Cooking time is minimum refrigerator time. Recipe is from one of my favorite cookbooks, Texas Home Cooking by Bill and Cheryl Jamison.

    Recipe #109345

This is my mother's recipe, simple to make, but folks always think I really went to some trouble. I usually make 3 or more of these just after Thanksgiving to have on hand to take to potlucks etc. They keep really well. Also, you can put this in a mold, like at Christmas - a tree mold etc, for a festive touch.
