    Light and low fat.

    Recipe #26283

When our church decided to host a "German Reformation Night" dinner, I went hunting for authentic German recipes. Here is one that fits the bill. There are two ways to make the dumplings (explained below). Serving ideas suggested below too. Gushundheit--!

    Recipe #261361

Potatoes are nearly religious in Iceland. If I put the most extravagant “potato-less” meal ever created in front of Siggi … he scans it, frowns & says “Hmm. No potatoes, huh?” In addition, SusieQusie accuses me (rightly so) of sleeping comfortably while Siggi trots off to work … so I thot I'd "marry" these 2 concepts & devised his now favourite G-N-G (Grab, Nuke & Go) breakfast. (Time doesn't include time spent originally fixing the potatoes or hard-boiling the egg)

    Recipe #171107

This recipe is from the "Low-Fat Cooking" cookbook of the Australian Womens Weekly Cookbook series & was described as suitable for diabetics. It seemed so basic to me & I was certain it would have already been posted to RZ, but I was unable to find it. DH & I have been eating baked potatoes this way for eons w/the addition of garlic & McCormick Lemon & Pepper Seasoning Salt, so I showed them as opt adds. Time does not include time to bake or microwave potatoes. *Enjoy* !

    This is a Jello recipe...

    Recipe #137073

A nice, light dessert from my favorites. For buffet, I used mini phyllo dough shells (22.5 calories, 1 g fat), filling with 2 teaspoons of pudding-gelatin mixture. Makes about 60. From Weight Watchers' "Simply the Best". Cooking time includes 8 hours refrigerator time.

A guilt-free indulgence for those on the South Beach Diet (any phase!) or low-carb diets. This is tasty enough for your non-dieting friends and family members, too (there's no "sugar-free" taste or aftertaste). The ginger gives it a little kick, and you can experiment with different spices and Jello flavors. This is my favorite low-carb dessert so far. I've listed the refrigeration time as cooking time. I don't remember where I got this recipe, but it is my husband's favorite summertime pie. Using reduced fat or fat free items makes this a tasty but low calorie dessert. Cooking time is time to freeze.

    Recipe #292098

    Makes enough for a 12 - 15 pound turkey.

    Recipe #197164

This is a lovely pie and it's diabetic friendly.

    Recipe #216479

I have no idea how this got it's name, but it's quick and easy.

    Recipe #216489

    Recipe #155067

Tasty peas in a butter-herb sauce.

    Recipe #216451

Switch from sour cream to low fat yogurt for a more healthy choice.

    Recipe #399890

An easy and delicious one-pan meal.

    Recipe #399898

Next time you have roast beef, try this delectable sauce instead of brown gravy. Lower in fat and calories than gravy too.

    Recipe #140436

Great for breakfast, not too sweet.

    Recipe #224629

This is from the June '07 GoodHousekeeping magazine. Simple, healthy, and delicious. I added some alfalfa sprouts to mine and only used half the amount of spinach leaves.

    Recipe #232575

So easy and tasty, and good for you too!

    Recipe #399884
