I am not a "Sweet Eater" but I always make desserts and goodies for my friends. One dessert I love is Mexican Flan and also Danish Apple Cake. If you want a fun reaction at your children's next party try Phoney Fried Eggs. I hope you find something here that pleases your palate

This recipe jumped out at me because it is unusual and uses my favorite fruit and seasoning.

    Recipe #121336

This is really great. I admit I don't have a wonderful bottle of balsamic and they still were very tasty.

A great desert for our diabetic friends. This recipe came to me from my grandmother, who was a diet-controlled diabetic.

My colleague Grace made up these these wonderful gift boxes of goodies including this recipe. These are so good and when I found out how easy they are to make, I was sold! Personally I like to use semi sweet chocolate chips, but that is personal preference. Split you wafers before placing in the pan but fit them tightly together--the grahams that split to approx 1x2 inches are ideal, but cut them to the size you like. After you have made the almond roca and cooled the tray, put it in the freezer for only 10 minutes to really solidify the chocolate. Then remove from freezer and flip the whole tray so you can see where the graham wafer splits are. It is then very easy to just slice gently with a knife and you get perfect cut pieces. I store mine in a tin box in the fridge, but if you have chocoholics they won't last so just put them out on a plate!

Easy yummy dessert. Make your own cherry mix if you want but sometimes it's nice to take a shortcut. I use E.D. Smith pie filling. This is another no fail recipe.

My Mom did this for my 8th birthday party and you should have seen the look on the kids faces "fried eggs at a birthday party?). The platter looks great and kids love them

Another Danish/Scandinavian recipe. Cardamom is in the ginger family and has a pungent flavor. These cookies will disappear quickly (Unless you don't like cardamom!)

You'll want to make a double batch of these truffles. SOOOoooo easy and soooo good.I store them in the freezer and find they are still good after a couple of monthe but the original recipe said store in fridge and for up to a week. I reccommend that you use "Slide" no stick foil

Excellent Christmas recipe. I have made these every year since 1992 when I found the recipe in BC Woman to Woman Magazine it was credited to Mrs M.H. Wilkinson. I have not changed anything in the recipe it is excellent the way it is. For variety add a 1/2 tsp Almond extract orfresh ground nutmeg or finely grated orange peel. Try the original first tho you won't be disappointed

This dessert was traditionally served on Christmas Eve. It is easy to make. You can either buy Almond Macaroons or make your own Almond Macaroons

    Recipe #14558

This is a traditional Danish cookie/cake that is served at all festive occasions, Weddings, Christmas, Easter etc. It sounds like Ho Hum but it is truly delicious

    Recipe #15737

I have not made this cake, but it sounds delicious and is from "The Nella Cuccina" cookbook so I know it will be very good. It is a good keeper (you can freeze it) and a lovely company cake to serve!

This is a very refreshing dessert after a big meal or on a hot sunny day. The recipe says it serves 6 but when I made it I found that it serves 10. Great flavor

    Recipe #17539

This dessert was described to me as the sexiest ever dessert! You can serve it as is or use it as a topping for fresh fruit. You may substitute your favorite liqueur for the Marsala but this recipe must have alcohol in it. This recipe is from the Australian Women's weekly Italian cookbook
