This recipe came from my niece, Yvonne Robnett "Idol" back in 1982. She was in school at the time. She was always bringing home her creations from Home Ec. This is a very simple and tasty bread. Yvonne passed away Dec. 8th, 2006. She is the daughter of Carrie aka Happy Hippie. (I typed this recipe exactly how she wrote it. I'm sure you can make it out.)(PLEASE DO NOT CORRECT!)
Another bisquick dessert recipe that is quick, tasty, and easy to make. One of the quickie desserts I love to make because everyone enjoys it so much. This is a new addition to my comments, my grandson and I made this last night night using apple pie filling -- AWSOME says it all. We're going to go through all the pie fillings and start all over again. Gotta try it folks!
This recipe is from March 1991 Southern Living and was submitted by Mary Andrew, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, I used to make it for my dad's birthday when he was alive. My daughter requested it for her birthday this year and I really had to search for the 1991 Annual Recipes book.
This is a gooey butter cake, perfected by the lady herself, Ms. Paula Deen, and is a tribute to Elvis Presley. She's my favorite chef and I'll give anything she makes a try, even if it doesn't interest me. This recipe is definitely worth a try and takes one of my childhood favorites (peanut butter and banana sandwiches) to new heights.
Crushed Oreos, pudding and Cool Whip! What could be better! Got this recipe from the weekly sale flyer at a local grocery store. Tried it, loved it, and now posting it to save (also got devoured at the office) Cook time is actually refrigeration time.
These cookies are really good. Unfortunately the kids love them. lol Make extra, because if you want any for yourself, you'd better make sure each kid gets their fair share or you'll end up having a full blown riot on your hands. :)
