This is just divine. It's a real cross between rice pudding and a creme brulee. I give you the recipe, just as my Mum gave it to me. I think that originally (in the 60's) it was an Arabella Boxer one. It's so good, it's been cooked in my family for over 30 years. Kate in Katoomba

    Recipe #23931

A tempting indulgent dessert--nothing beats the flavors of pecans, buttery caramel and rich chocolate. From Land O Lakes.

    Recipe #159968

Uses a cake mix to recreate the gooey goodness of cinnamon rolls without all the extra work. In my opinion, anything that combines cinnamon rolls with cake is a definite winner!

At Fourth of July cookouts or Christmas family and church get-togethers, I am always asked to bring this. This is even what my daughter asks me to prepare as her birthday cake. Simple to prepare but elegant tasting. I have tried versions with regular chocolate frosting but this is so much better. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

This is always a huge success, no matter when I serve it. Kids and adults alike love it. Very addictive!

This is another lovely dessert from my Chocolate cookbook by Christine McFadden & Christine France. These girls never fail me! This 1 is steam-cooked in a 4-cup bowl. My steamer is oblong-shaped & will not accept a 4-cup rd bowl, so I have made it in 4 individual dessert bowls & 8 ramekins. Adjusted cooking time for these sizes is noted below. The taste of banana & choc is pleasingly subtle here & combines w/an almost gingerbread flavor that reminds me of my mom. Serve it warm w/the choc sauce as suggested below. You are going to love this!

For best flavor this cheesecake and any cheesecake is best prepared a day ahead, to save time chop caramels hours or days in advance and keep in a ziploc bag until ready to use :)

    Recipe #120722

This recipe starts with a mix to save time, but doesn't sacrifice the flavor. So rich it will make you "slap your mama" - great for summer picnics or potlucks.

Sweet tooth and Pina Colada lovers this is for YOU!!!!! Optional for the winter parties! You can bake this in 2 medium metal bowls, (using foil to keep stable while baking) to form a snow ball when put together. You just need to slice a piece off the bottom (round part) so it can sit stable and frost with cream top with other half and frost with rest. Cover with coconut flakes.

I have created this recipe, using a variety of other recipes for a base and then changing many things to meet my intense lemon craving! These go together very quickly and they are very tangy, on the too-tangy side of wonderful almost. If you lovelovelove tangy lemon and want a nice crisp crust with a higher ratio of lemon to crust, please try this recipe and tell me what you think!
