    Delicious Desserts

I am not a "dessert" person, so if I am going to bother making it, I want it to be really worth it ... or very unusual.

A wonderful frosting I have used for years made in very little time with perfect results and 100% better than any canned, this frosting is so good you will find yourself eating a fair amount of it before even using it to frost with! --- choose the amount of cocoa powder you desire for either a light, medium or dark frosting, and make certain to sift the cocoa powder and the confectioners sugar before using for the recipe--- this frosting *freezes* very well so double the recipe and freeze one batch for next time --- *NOTE* for an ultra creamy fluffy milk chocolate frosting add in 1 to 1-1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip topping at the end of mixing the frosting and beat on low speed until blended ------- also see my recipe#80118 ---- recipe#282040 --- recipe#90142

    Recipe #89207

From www.TopSecretRecipes.com I don't know where I got this pumpkin cheesecake recipe. I have made this cheesecake around Thanksgiving, when the pumpkin spices are calling! It is the same as Todd Wilbur's Top Secret recipe.

When I saw all the other Tiramisu recipes posted, I was hesitant to add my one. But after looking through them, none were quite like mine. This is the only Tiramisu recipe I have ever made, I found it so good I didn't need to seek out another. It is very simple and can be made in the morning for dinner. It is my most popular dessert and is requested by my friends often. Cook time is minimum refrigeration time. I have no idea which book this came from. Many people have commented that the level of sugar in this recipe is too low. I wonder if they are using caster (superfine) sugar or just regular? Superfine will fill a 1/4 of a cup more than regular would. Of course, it could just be personal taste and that's okay too.

This pie is so rich. It is so quick and easy. It is also enjoyed quick and easy. You must try this for your next Chocolate Pie. I HAVE to make it EVERY Thanksgiving, especially for son Kevin and son-in-law Dwain. My sister-in-law, Sherry, entered it in their 1996 church cookbook, "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread", Wise County, Texas.

I have made this cake many times in the past and always receive raves reviews all around, it's a buttery cake loaded with walnuts then soaked in honey syrup, trust me you will love this cake!

    Recipe #215056

This recipe calls for Mexican cajeta (caramel topping). If you cannot find this in your supermarket, substitute Smucker's Caramel topping, however the Mexican cajeta has a richer flavor. This is very easy to make, and super good. Use it with your next Mexican Fiesta!!

    Recipe #48401

I bake daily and having failed to find a chocolate muffin recipe that 'hit the spot' I decided to take matters into my own hands, hence this recipe. Somewhat similar to a cupcake in texture, a lighter crumb and good depth of flavour gives you a muffin that's totally chocolate dream delicious!

Nothing fancy, but it is the bread pudding we have had for many years and we love it.

    Recipe #396475

This recipe came from my niece who is called by the family "Kate the Baker." They were fabulous warm out of the oven as well as cooled that evening. Can't comment on the next day because they were all gone!

Easy, tasty very impressive dessert. Prepare this dessert in front of your guests it only takes a few minutes from start to enjoying it The secret to igniting the rum is to just have it warmed not boiled or you will evaporate all the alcohol and it won't ignite. This is a Mexican dessert and if from Better Homes & Gardens "Cooking Mexican". It is perfect served over Vanilla Ice Cream but you may have it on it's own

    Recipe #115090

This is a decadent, moist cheesecake that never fails. I got the recipe from my sister-in-law who brings it to every family function. There are never any leftovers! *This cheesecake needs to be made and refrigerated one day in advance. Hope you enjoy!

    Recipe #132261

A beautiful finale to cool your palate after enjoying a generous serving of SEAFOOD GUMBO-NEW ORLEANS STYLE. The Bananas Foster recipe appeared in Spring/99 issue of Gusto Manazine, compliments of Brennan's Restaurant, New Orleans. Double recipe to serve 8-10 persons.

    Recipe #61048

This pie crust retains the flavor of an all butter crust, but is flakier because of the shortening. The lemon juice isn't in the recipe for lemon flavour... trust me you won't taste it, but rather to work with the flour and prevent the pastry from being tough. I also find that the dough gives a bigger yield than the original 9 inch size stated, I roll mine relatively thin and can get a full top and bottom for a 26 cm (12 inch) shallow pie dish. I have included 20+ step by step photographs to help you see *exactly* how this is made so that you now have instructions for making an entire pie crust from ingredients to table. The new instructions may look long, but I have only tried to give practical details to that even if this is your first ever pie crust, you will have ALL the information you need for success. Enjoy! ZWT REGION: United States.

    Recipe #26205

Rich and chocolatey with a hint of coffee and kahlua ... topped with a rich creamy frosting and you have the perfect potluck dessert ... or serve it with some vanilla ice cream for a company dessert. Cook time does not include cooling time for the brownies before adding the frosting.

    Recipe #323446

From the Eagle Brand website: www.eaglebrand.com Cook time does not include chill time.

    Recipe #316255
