This is a delicious but simple recipe that's bursting with flavor! Also good for a quick meal and can easily be doubled for larger batches. I can honestly say that when we have these, there are never any leftovers.

    Recipe #142952

This is a good, filling soup. I like to have it with sandwiches or Pepperoni Bread.

A very garlicky chicken souvlaki, the recipe comes from an old friend's greek mother (he had to translate it for me.) It disappears very fast - and no vampires allowed!

    Recipe #209429

I originally found this recipe at Recipe Goldmine but have added and subtracted after trial and error. The original recipe called for a 10 oz pkg of frozen peas to be added during the last 15 minutes of cooking. I usually add a little rosemary and cayenne. Can add the spices you wish. This is very good!

Perfect party food! --- this is one of my all time favorite nacho recipes that I have made many times in the past, and I guarantee you will love this! --- all amounts may be adjusted to taste and double the recipe if desired but keep the garlic no more than 2 tablespoons, if you really want to go all out add in a can of drained black beans to the ground beef mixture! 1/2 pound Italian sausages with casings removed can be mixed with the ground beef if desired, to turn up the heat use a package of taco seasoning mix or spicy salsa and add in cayenne or dried chili flakes --- for the best flavor make certain to brown the meat well :)

This is an attempt to immitate the excellent bread that is served in the Macaroni Grill Restaurant.

    Recipe #64446

I love salsa verde, so this is one of the ways that I like to prepare chicken. This dish serves up great with Spanish rice, and a green salad.

This is really delicious, especially if you are low-carbing it. It's a great alternative to "plain" tuna salad. Can be used as a dip for celery sticks, spread on celery stalks, or stuffed in cherry tomatoes. Prep time does not include chill time, since you can leave it in the fridge for longer than the one hour mentioned in the recipe.

    Recipe #43387

This one is easy and low fat and very tasty!

    Recipe #205873

Roasted green chilies add spice to this do-ahead dish, which happens to be a great way to use up leftover chicken. Plan to make this a day ahead, as the beans need to soak overnight. To shorten the cooking time, you could use a couple of cans of drained, white northern beans. This chili is awesome!

Many people love sushi, but are intimidated to make it themselves, however, it is REALLY EASY to make, and a LOT of FUN too! You won't believe how creative you can get while making your sushi. The sky is the limit really! Add any veggies and fish you like, and be creative. Please note that this is basically a TUTORIAL on "How To Roll Sushi" and "How To Arrange Your Ingredients". A very light salad to add to any dinner meals. I developed this recipe in 1995 and it has been a highly rated salad.

    Recipe #18229

I have had several people ask me for an authentic chicken gumbo recipe. This is my attempt at a recipe. I didn't realize it until I sat down the try to type this, I don't know HOW I make gumbo!Gumbo isn't about recipes. I never saw my Maw Maw's recipe because she didn't have one. Gumbo is cooked with instinct and heart. Gumbo is a dish you are taught not something you can make by reading a recipe. My gumbo won't taste like yours and yours won't taste like mine, altough mine tastes pretty similar to Maw Maw's but that is probably because she taught me how to make it when I was about 8. If you have the ability to cook with pinches, dabs and shakes, if you can season, then taste, then season a little more until it tastes right to you, then you can make gumbo using this "recipe". If you can't, you might want to find someone to show you how.
