    Deep Frying

My husband bought me a deep fryer and I love it! I try to only use it once or twice a month though! These are recipes to use with my fun new gadget. Photo by Parsley for Batter Dipped Deep Fried Cauliflower.

These cheese balls are great appetizers. Recipe source: Bon Appetit (January 1985)

    Recipe #103350

At my house, we don't like those fried mushrooms that are black and slimy where the breading slides easily off. This recipe is just a very crisp breading on a fresh mushroom. They'll 'pop' when you cut into them they are so fresh. Panko breadcrumbs are a polished bread crumb that you can find in an Asian market or the International section of your favorite food store and they make just a wonderful crunchier coating, too.

    Recipe #105573

These are a bit reminiscent of stuffed jalapeño peppers but much easier to make. I found this in the Junior League Celebrations cookbook.

    Recipe #91720

Great appetizer or snack. The breading is not to heavy. The only time I've seen guys eat cauliflower during a football game is when it's this recipe.

    Recipe #153891

Crispy cheese-filled fritters with mild cauliflower and onion flavors. Easy to make and to-die-for delicious! My 3 year old loves to dip 'em in ketchup.

    Recipe #21887

Recipe created by Todd Wilbur www.TopSecretRecipes.com the best part is the pina colada dipping sauce. And it's true, that sauce is so good you could eat it with a spoon. But the coconut shrimp is pretty awesome too, even on its own. Red Lobster's secret formula includes Captain Morgan's Parrot Bay rum, which sweetens up the batter as well as adding a great coconut flavor

    Recipe #109488

I've never eaten these at the Outback, but they are succulent wee buggers!

    Recipe #33239

The little babies are so good and so fattening! Only because they're deep fried and dipped in caramel. I guess if you wanted to bake them, you could, but it's quicker for me to fry a few when I have a craving. The best way to describe them would be little fried apple pies without having to make dough or get flour everywhere. Very simple and few ingredients, but delicious.

    Recipe #142517

These are a nice appetizer or a handy snack. My kids love them.

    Recipe #136973

You'll never buy frozen mozzarella sticks again! These are easy and absolute delicious with none of the unhealthy additives of the commercial kind. I serve these with my own Angie's Bella Marinara sauce (with the spices punched up a little), but these would also be good with a creamy ranch-style dip. Vary the herbs in the breading if you like, but I like this combination with the marinara sauce.

    Recipe #91501

My hubby loves eggrolls, but I never like any of the ones I tried before, so I made up my own recipe. They are so good, you'll want to slap yo mama!!!

    Recipe #112528

I had these at a local county fair and just had to try to make them. They are delicious. You can substitute your favorite dry pancake mix for the Bisquick. They are best when eaten warm. If you are want to try a lighter version, use lowfat milk, canola oil, and reduced fat Oreos.

A very simple and easy way to make Burger King Onion Rings at home. It does take a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Vegetable shortening is best, but you may use vegetable oil if desired. Cooking times and servings are a guess. From TopSecretRecipes.com

Best poppers I've ever eaten. These freeze very well after frying, so you can make them ahead of time for a party and just reheat them.

This recipe is a family favorite. Beaten egg whites make this batter thinner, everything comes out light and fluffy. This recipe needs to be prepared an hour before using.

    Recipe #89854

I have been playing around with this recipe since I was a teen. I love to make these for friends and they say they are better than the restaurant version. Stacey

    Recipe #112074

It was passed on to me by my friend, Sanjay Prakash who is a genius chef himself! It is as special as its name, very unique, very tasty!

    Recipe #12127

An excellent snack or appetizer at any time or at a party. I have been making this recipe for over 30 years. Enjoyed by all that love zucchini.

    Recipe #26901

Here is a dish I am famous for both with my friends in Japan and Canada. It was given to me by an aunt in Japan and I wanted to share her recipe with the rest of the world..lol.

    Recipe #119221

You can make these easily at home by using a package of ravioli. We like to use other types of ravioli for this dish. From Copykat.com (http://www.copykat.com)
