This is how my Granny made sweet tea and it is some kind of sweet. Know that and beware. Pa-Paw used to down 2-3 glasses after working in the garden all day. Back off the sugar if you can't handle it. This one is for true southerners only ;)

I love coffee. (you're shocked, I can tell) I like to keep a pitcher of this in my fridge, especially during the summer.

    Recipe #113064

This is the best tasting, most satisfying, easiest homemade lemonade you will ever drink. What could be more satisfying on a hot summer day than the cool, brisk refreshing taste of lemonade? This is so easy with the help of a citrus juicer to juice the lemons.

Ah, the simple pleasures of life!

    Recipe #66032

Tastes just like Starbucks Frappucino! Adapted from several recipes I've seen, this is a delicious frozen drink for summer!

    Recipe #65347

This delicious smoothie is a great way to start your day and is a great breakfast option for people on-the-go. Not only are blueberries healthy and low in calories they are also known for their ability to destroy free radicals. Bananas are loaded with potassium and low in sodium which is great news for the healthy heart-conscious consumer. This excellent potassium-packed breakfast or pre-workout snack is perfect for athletes. Use organic products when possible for the best taste and healthier smoothie. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite recipes out of the cookbook that came with my Magic Bullet blender. Of course you can make this in a regular blender as well.

Got this out of one of my cookbooks. Icy and yummy, perfect for summer!

    Recipe #79378

Ever had real snow cream after fresh snowstorm? This is very popular in the southern United States. Similar to vanilla ice cream but in a drink (milkshake-like) consistency. (This recipe was developed by 11 year old Morgan, daughter of 'zaar chef JessicaLee).

    Recipe #64533

This drink was in a Family Fun magazine a few years ago. When poured carefully, this makes a red, white and blue drink for any star-spangled occasion. It separates by using the drink with the highest sugar content on the bottom, and the least on top.

    Recipe #175888

Lemons must be at room temperature before squeezing out the juice. For pink lemonade add in a few drops of red food colouring, and for honeyed lemonade substitute liquid honey for the sugar, this is a wonderful drink on a hot summer day!

    Recipe #163220

This is more of a technique than a recipe. I adapted this from the Food Network. this would be great using mint or herb teas!

After having three kids, I could have saved a lot of $ making this myself.

    Recipe #11778

This is a popular drink from Uganda using pineapples, their major crop. It is made using cream or coconut milk and reminds me of the Caribbean. Recipe was adapted from The African Cookbook by Bea Sandler.

    Recipe #172700

This recipe comes from Heather Carlucci-Rodriguez, who opened a tiny shop in Manhattan called Lassi, selling especially fresh and vibrant version of classic Punjabi dishes.
