I love potato soup, and this is the recipe I've come up with after trying several recipes and combining them. It's easy to put in the crock pot and forget about it, or, if you're in a hurry, it can be made in about twenty five minutes on the stove top.

    Recipe #83666

This is a very easy recipe to make and has always turned out really good for me. The apples cook up to look like applesauce and usually turn sort of dark and tastes great.

Easy, Easy, Easy...T hat's what this is. Put ingredients in crock pot the night before. Upon serving, add more brown sugar to taste.

    Recipe #154635

These are the best baked beans I've ever tried, bar none. The beans need to soak for at least 12 hours before being used in the recipe.

    Recipe #82035

This is a great way to have baked potatoes ready when you come home. I own two crock pots. In one I have my meat and the other I have a vegetable, some type of side or dessert. You can create a whole meal in a crock pot.

Only three ingredients and this makes the best tasting meat. Even though the recipe title says "pot roast", I think hoagie sandwiches are the way to go. The recipe wasn't clear on amounts or how much(or servings for that matter) so I did a little guessing....

This is just about the easiest soup that you can make and it has that southwestern flavor that my family loves. Just serve it with a salad and bread of choice and you have a warm meal on a cool night.

    Recipe #47785

This soup is really yummy and healthy too! This makes a main dish accompanied by tortillas, or crusty french bread and a nice salad!Caribbean, Cuban, Mexican and Spanish influences! It really is best if the beans are soaked overnight. And depending on your cooker, the soup might need to be cooked longer.

This is a delicious casserole and it's so easy to make. I've put it in the crockpot for 4 hours on low instead of baking it, and that works great, too, especially if you're taking it to a pot-luck. Southwestern U.S. is where you'll find this great recipe.

    Recipe #41707

    From BHG. A slow-cooker chowder.

    Recipe #89177

This soup is what I make for my family every Christmas Eve. I love using the crock pot, especially during the holidays. To cut down on time, I always use frozen hash browns- (diced, not shredded) for the 6 cups of potatoes. I've also added cheddar cheese along with the Velveeta cheese. This soup is delicious served in bread bowls.

A very chocolatey-cherry dessert, that works well in the oven too.

This is a slightly spicey, slightly sweet combination of flavors that is sure to suit the pickiest of eaters. Adjust the cayenne to suit your personal taste.

    Recipe #58043

From www.TopSecretRecipes.com It's finally here! What everyone's been waiting for! Just in time for winter, this soup is sure to warm your soul with it's savory flavor and wonderful aroma. I've asked many an Olive Garden waiter for this recipe, but none gave it to me in detail. One waiter told me the secret ingredient was to add a little red wine to the stock, but I'll leave that up to you to try.

A fluffy, moist wheat and oat bread with a crisp crust. Perfect for baking bread without an oven in the summer.

I loved finding a rice recipe for the crock pot that can cook by itself and then be served at dinner time with some quickly grilled or baked chicken or fish. It is from BHG Slow Cooker Recipes.

I think this recipe was originally from Southern Living. I adjusted it to suit our taste and this year was able to adapt it for the crock pot. Hope you enjoy!
