Mmmm...I love to have dinner all ready to eat when I get home from a long day at work. I can pretend my "chef" has been and gone and left me with a delicious meal.

I love to make my hams in the crock pot.

    Recipe #266892

    Recipe #381918

I work nights so crock pot recipes are a lifesaver. Here is another crock pot recipe.

    Recipe #128234

From I like this sauce a lot because it is easy to make and the brown sugar makes it sweet, which I love!

    Recipe #337259

This recipe comes from "Incredibly Easy One Dish" cookbook. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks simple and tasty. I like that it is made in the crockpot. The steaks are sure to be tender.

    Recipe #327891

An easy side dish to make in the crock pot.

    Recipe #327052

I originally posted this recipe to a BBS in the late 80s, and had lost it since. Bemoaning it's loss, I happened to find it archived online recently - yay! Once again I can enjoy my savory Sari Fowl. :)

    Recipe #28852

I love polenta. Like it fried with maple syrup for breakfast. Like it with lemon pepper & a bit of butter, oh I could go on and on. But making it on the stove top was always plop plop burn burn, this way I'm safe.

Make a whole meal out of the French Vegetarian Classic while it is warm or offer it chilled as a salad course. Serve with a crusty bread and top with feta cheese, if desired. From the Best Slow Cooker Cookbook Ever.

    Recipe #58047

This was a new one for me! Perfect for that "Mom on the Run"!!! Can double this recipe for as many hot dogs as you can fit in your cooker. Use pork, chicken, turkey or kosher beef hot dogs.

    Recipe #285375

Adapted from a recipe by Kimber at If you do not have real maple syrup, increase the amount to 1/3-1/2 cup. It will look like the amount of liquid is inadequate, but the meat will render plenty of juices!

    Recipe #319367

This is so easy to make and equally yummy! We love beef stroganoff and this was a definite hit! It will become a staple in our household!

This is a delicious crock pot recipe that I found on this site, but adapted it to my own tastes. It smells great while it is cooking! After cooking it for 3 hours, I took out the chicken and placed it in a serving dish, then took the sauce and added cornstarch to make it thicker. The sauce was then used to pour over the chicken or the rice. Some other ideas I have, which I would like to try sometime, would be to cut up the chicken into strips and then add stir-fry veggies to the chicken and sauce. This would be like a stir-fry! (one that would take a while though) Who knows, maybe we will try it sometime!

    Recipe #51781

This is the recipe that convinced me to start taking advantage of cheap whole chicken prices. When I read about it (somewhere on the internet), I couldn't believe it was that easy. I couldn't believe you didn't need any liquid. You don't. Trust me. Better yet, don't trust me - try the recipe for yourself!

    Recipe #224909

Nothing can be easier than this scrumptious dinner! It cooks unattended until the last 5 minutes of cooking. Add a salad or green vegetable for a complete meal. This recipe will work for any size roast (beef or venison), just cook larger ones a little longer and smaller ones a little less.

    Recipe #54439

A popular, easy, and flavorful way to cook a small ham for the holidays, a dinner party or to have ham for sandwiches, soups or casseroles.

A tender, juicy method for cooking a turkey. This is perfect for serving as a main course or making turkey sandwiches. The cooking juice is delicious when thickened and served as a Seasoned Gravy, which I've included here.

    Recipe #39724

I now have my crock-pot 6 months. Because I don't need it as a time saver I have not used as much as I thought I would. But, it is great to make good chicken stock and I use it for that purpose a lot. I let the crock-pot do this during the night. My crock-pot is 3 liter/quart so a small one, adjust the ingredients to the size pot you are using and use your own judgement. I find it handy to freeze some of the stock in ice-cube bags for sauces. If you do not have all the ingredients on the does not matter, you also do not have to follow the amounts exactly, be creative and add other veg or more of the same, or what you have in the fridge and think is suitable for making this recipe, just let it cook slowly to get a great rich stock. Have fun with this and enjoy the result!
