I adopted this recipe from the Recipezaar account, and I'm so glad that I did. This has become a regular addition to my OAMC and I have created a public cookbook filled with recipe ideas using this recipe. This is a three-ingredient wonder that's easy (5 minutes of your time), delicious and versatile.
From a Weight Watcher's Crock Pot cookbook. I haven't tried it yet but copied from my friend's book. The recipe states that Vindaloo is a spicy Indian curry usually made with lamb, but chicken is equally delicious. Prepared curry paste can be very spicy, so start with the minimum amount; then, when the dish is done, taste the broth and add the remaining paste if desired. *Any frozen vegetable blend will work with the recipe as long as there are no sauces or butter added.
A kind of classic kind of not chicken and rice soup. It may take all day in a slow cooker to make, but believe me, when it's time to eat, you will want it SOO bad you won't be able to stand yourself. ENJOY!
Adapted from Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee, this is easy with yummy results. Put it on in the morning and come home to a soothing, comforting dinner. Crackers or bread and a salad finish off this meal.
I first enjoyed a version of this in a little restaurant in Cozumel on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The combination of salsa and cinnamon gives a zesty tropical taste to everyday chicken! If you can find the currants, they give a special complex flavor to the dish.
