A really delicious way to have your turkey meal (except on Thanksgiving Day, of course!). Turkey meatballs cook slowly in a luscious turkey gravy. The meatballs are made especially for this recipe but if you're in a hurry you could use frozen, precooked turkey meatballs. Recipe from BH&G.
Sweet & sassy baked beans, featuring lean ground turkey, are easy to throw together & slow cooked in the crockpot. Serve as a side dish or add crusty bread and a green salad for a filling main dish. With the kick of Rotel tomatoes balanced by tangy orange marmalade, your family is sure to gobble this up! I do love green chilies. I was happy to find this simple recipe for green (verde) chile turkey. This is not too spicy and makes wonderful wrap sandwiches. I also use it for main dish servings with mashed potatoes.
This thick and hearty Bolognese will have your family and guests raving how great a cook you are. Comfort food that will warm your bones. Good to make for Halloween. take the children trick or treating check in, empty the candy bags, give a stir and go back out for more knowing the treat you'll be back home for..... When chilled arrive home for a hot yummy dinner that everyone will LOVE! Makes a lot of sauce so great to freeze leftovers for a later day.
I wanted a one dish recipe that utilized my crock-pot, but was not a casserole or mixture of items. This recipe accomplished the feat making delicious turkey burgers and a side of cheesy farmhouse pasta! Best of all, it makes dinner for 3 and then lunch for the next day or even a side dish for dinner the next night! Perfect if you have some place to be for a few hours and will be returning home at dinner time. No scrambling on school or work nights! I created this recipe for the "Category Craze-E Contest" in the Contest and Events Forum.
This recipe is one from The Fall cookbook Swap;one of the books Sydney Mike sent me
I bought some Turkey Breast Fillets from M&M but you can make this recipe with boneless turkey or chicken breast. A one pot meal so handy to have ready when you come home.I always have a jar of this mixture in my pantry that I use instead of soup. Recipe #184827
This recipe is tasty, inexpensive, so easy to prepare, and healthy for you, too! It can be served as a stew one night, then serve leftovers over egg noodles, macaroni, or rice another night. Two meals for a family of five out of one pound of ground turkey! You can substitute any vegetables that your family enjoys. My family really loves it.
