    Recipe #339547

This is a quick recipe for those school nights when everyone is on the go. This can also be made ahead and froze. All you need are some dinner rolls and/or salad.

    Recipe #250482

Okay, everyone automatically asks where the noodles are when they see this, but trust me when you try it you won't miss the noodles one bit. This is one of our favorites at my house. It is nice when your budget is a little tight too. :)

One night when I went to visit my dad, my grandma had made this tuna casserole for dinner. I had never had tuna casserole before and after tasting it, I fell in love. My sister and I asked for the recipe so we can make it ourselves at home. When we made it, it came out just as good as hers.

I was raised poor and we didn't waste anything. If we had left over meat, we always enjoyed it made over like this. You can even use left over potatoes if you have them, just remember to adjust your cook time. You can also add any type of seasoning that you like to change the taste to suit your family.

    Recipe #74900

I had some leftovers that I needed to do something with or throw them away. So this is what I came up with.If you try this I hope you enjoy it. Please feel free to use the veggies that you and your family like the most. Please feel free to add more salt, pepper, and garlic powder to your own taste. Submitted to "ZAAR" on March 29th, 2008.

I love making homemade macaroni and cheese, but I don't always have the time. I used some of the elements of my homemade mac and cheese and incorporated them into the cheap mac and cheese in the blue box. While certainly not as good as homemade, it is really delicious for a quick and easy fix.

    Recipe #133645

An excellant baked bean dish, from the 1979 Pillsburys' Kitchen Family Cookbook. It's also a family "favorite".

    Recipe #91273

Although Kraut is a German dish, us Polish folks eat a bunch of it. I learned to make this from my mother who learned it from her mother. There's no way of knowing how long it has been in the family--it probably arrived from Poland with my ancestors.

    Recipe #272203

    A wonderful quick hot meal!

    Recipe #10324

Found this recipe in a Family Circle Magazine and tweaked it a little. I used a 16 ounce can of corned beef and I chopped it to make it easier to eat and less expensive. It is a good quick recipe.

Disclaimer - this is NOT gourmet! This is one of my "Emergency Quickies", when dinner needs to be done, and needs to be done NOW. I've made several variations of this, with either cheddar or parmesan cheese, and whatever "Cream of..." soup I had on hand. My kids prefer their veggies on the side, so we usually have peas or carrots as a side dish, but I'm sure they'd be great just thrown in the sauce, too. Send me a review with your modifications, I could always use new ideas for this one!

    Recipe #282785

This is a casserole I came up with when I worked in a group home where I had to cook dinner for 6 grown men. Please note: some of these are estimates as I honestly don't know the exact size on some of these containers for Zaar's computer. Use whatever you can find in your store (12, 8, 16 ounce)

This is my kids' favorite tuna casserole, which is very simple to make and very easy on the budget. NOTE: I also like to add a cup of frozen peas on top of the tuna layer...(That is optional)

    Recipe #159135

My brother and I cook up this quick and easy recipe every Friday night when my mom is out with her friends/family. It's yummy yummy and has the potential to evolve into much more...but we like it just the way it is. I hope you enjoy!!

    Recipe #145256

A very simple kid friendly recipe. Even my pickiest will eat this! I always serve it with a vegetable and noodles.

    Recipe #216105

    Simple, tasty casserole

    Recipe #262982

Uses convenient frozen pierogies (Mrs. T's brand) for an all-in-one casserole. The mini "'Rogies" work best, but the regular size are OK too.
