Recipes from famous restaurants, or just copy cats of famous foods. Good ideas for my cooking class for teenagers.

These are so great as pancakes, but even better as sandwiches! (Can be frozen for OAMC, also.)

    Recipe #134085

My DH loves Pizza Hut's Que Papas, so we had to find a way to make our own. These are patties, rather than a "tater tot" shape, but really good, nonetheless. My DS thought we were saying "king" instead of "que", thus the name.

    Recipe #131130

A delicious noodle dish with chicken and shrimp and the trademark curry flavor. You can get the fried shallots you need in this recipe in little jars at the Asian markets. They sell fried garlic as well.

    Recipe #80964

From Copykat.com (http://www.copykat.com) This is traditionally served as a sandwich but may be served as is!

    Recipe #154918

This is such an easy bread to make just mix and bake, no need for any kneading, shape into one large or a few small loaves or drop the dough from a heaping tablespoonful onto baking sheet for biscuits --- to save time I prepare a couple of loaves early in the afternoon, shape and season them cover with plastic wrap and just keep refrigerated until ready to bake, I make this recipe with original brand Bisquick, so I cannot promise the same results if prepared with a clone --- these are at their best when served warm from the oven, so prepare them early refrigerate and pop into the oven just before dinner! :)

    Recipe #86835

I worked at Ruby Tuesdays for many years and this is how they made em'. Great Football food or snack with a movie. I always have to make more when I make them for Football parties because they are gobbled up quickly.

    Recipe #154304

I have not had these shrimp at the Chili's restaurant, but have frequently made this recipe. We like to serve them as appetizers. However, they are equally as good tossed with some pasta (with or without alfredo sauce). The recipe came from Top Secret Recipes and has been a favorite at our house for quite some time.

    Recipe #69202

This recipe was inspired after a trip to Ruby Tuesday and tasting this dish. I tried to do my best from my eating experience to judge this recipe. After making it, I totally nailed it the first time around. This recipe calls for Egg Rolls wrappers, however for smaller bite size portions, Wonton wrappers should suffice.

    Recipe #153843

This recipe is from the 1968 McDonald's Manager's Handbook put out in 1969 (1968 year) They quickly removed the recipe after realizing they had a very appealing "secret sauce." It was included as an emergency recipe in the event a particular store ran out of the pre-made sauce. Enjoy!

    Recipe #140102

From a Jamba Juice in Chicago via the ABC7 recipes.

    Recipe #152259

If you enjoy KFC's coleslaw, I think you will like this one, Remember to cut the cabbage thin!

    Recipe #152141

When I make these, I use Lea & Perrins White Wine Worcestershire Sauce For Chicken instead of regular Worcestershire sauce.

This is so easy to prepare! You can make this soup on the stovetop or in the slow cooker.I brought this soup to a boil on the stove and then put it in the slow cooker and let it simmer on low for 2-3 hours. If you like black bean soup, you're gonna love this!
