    Delicious & Simple!

    Recipe #115441

This is a great recipe for light and flaky cookies! My family loves them. I like to have one with a cup of coffee....

    Recipe #188921

These cookies are to die for. Like the potato chip slogan...."Bet You Can't Eat Just One". The use of coarse salt in the final mix, goes extremely well with the sweet chocolate. This is adapted from a recipe found on Cooking Light.

    Recipe #217314

This recipe pits daughter against Mother. Sarah has a jam bar recipe as well ... and the winner is?

    Recipe #201194

From Sunset "Cookies" book (1985). The preparation time calculations do not include the minimum 2 hour resting period for the dough.

    Recipe #217994

These cookies weren't supposed to be! A Zaar chef, who shall remain nameless, ;) posted a recipe for a chocolate cookie with pb chips in it. But instead of listing butter as the first ingredient, she accidentally listed peanut butter. After I had mixed everything together, I knew something was wrong because I ended up with a bowl full of crumbs, not dough. To try and salvage the ingredients, I added the milk, left out the pb chips and formed them like traditional pb cookies. Thankfully, the resulting cookies were soft and tasty so I decided to share. :)

What can I say my family loves these! All our favorite cookie flavors in one cookie

    Recipe #89198

To our family this is the best recipe we have ever come across for Chocolate Chip cookies and we have tried tons. Give it a try, see what you think! It makes quite a lot, but it is no problem for our family.*The key to make these exceptional cookies can be two things 1. don't pack the flour when scooping it, use a light hand and/or 2. use half all-purpose flour and half pastry flour (once I tried this method-"so good" I won't go back to all-purpose unless I'm out of pastry flour..it really makes for an exceptional cookie!)

Want cheesecake but not the hassel of preparing one? Try this simple and delicious alternative : )

    Recipe #8166

A very soft, chewey and perfectly spiced cookie!

    Recipe #214629

My mom made these every holiday season when I was growing up. While the adults would dip them in coffee (which is delicious), the kids would gobble them up plain. These can also be made ahead of time and put in freezer.

I love these cookies since they are moist and soft... plus they are a hit at any party!

    Recipe #213906

I'm not sure where I got this recipe from originally but the combinations fascinated me. When I went to make them I didn't have any cardamom (and almost past out when I saw the price of a little bottle!) so I used 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 1/4 tsp. ginger in place of it. I loved the results! If I every can afford the cardamom (ha ha!) I'll try the recipe again as written.

    Recipe #3560

I saw Paula Deen makes these cookies on TV and went right out and bought the ingredients to whip up a batch. I modified the recipe slightly by using Maraschino Cherries instead of candied cherries and doubled the quantity. I tend to make my cookies a little smaller so this recipe yielded about 72 cookies.

The combination of chocolate and coconut makes for a luscious treat. Prepa time includes refrideragion time.

I got this recipe from my mother-in-law years back and love it. No raisins so it appeals to everybody...and believe me you will get good reviews on this one. Always use real butter, and whatever you do....DO NOT OVERBAKE your cookies!! The butterscotch chips are optional, or you can substitute for white chocolate, chocolate, or mini M&M's...or use them all and call them Monster Cookies!! Oh, and I always double the recipe because by the time you take some to work, give some to the neighbors, and send some to school there won't be any left for you!

    Recipe #113788

Once I tried these, I never bothered making 'traditional' sugar cookies again. A soft, flavorful cookie that is a MUST for me at Christmas. Note, the original recipe said they were cut-out cookies but I never was able to get them to work well that way. That is why I make the round ones as described.

This is my mother-in-law's recipe. She was always baking and this is one of my favorite recipes she had.
