This is the best (finally!) recipe for lemon bars that I've tried. And I've tried a LOT of them over the years. This is the winner hands down! Found in an old Good Houskeeping cookbook! (I still changed it a little, but very minor changes.)
This is a great recipe for egg nog cookies, I found this the other day and thought i would put it here for safe keeping. Ive made these quite a few times this week and the kids love them , They will be a xmas cookie for years to come. Thank you for who ever made this recipe....
This recipe has been handed down in our family since World War II and it remains a favorite with the grandkids today. Do not substitute anything for the melted shortening; your results will not be as good. If you prefer a crispier molasses cookie, bake one minute longer. These cookies freeze well (if you can keep your family from eating them up first!)
"This must be one of the best cookies I have ever eaten." Yep, that's what my mother said the first time I ever made this cookie. It is a GREAT cookie recipe, and not difficult to make at all. I tripled the recipe and took it to school to sell... I sold all of them with in an 80 minute time span to only 4 people. They are good cookies, I can't resist them whenever I make them. And they turn out so nice whenever you bake them, it's hard to make an ugly snickerdoodle. lol. Enjoy. (prep time is estimated)
This is the actual recipe used in the Chicago public schools, my Mom was the manager in the cafeteria for many years. This recipe was also published in a Chicago newspaper as one of the favorites. The cookie has a wonderful butter flavor and very delicate texture. Have one with a little carton of milk and you will feel young again. Enjoy!
I found this recipe on the internet but I cannot remember where. I swear it is the absolute best cookies you will ever eat. They are sweet, chewy and you cannot eat just one. I promise if you try them, they will be a favorite.
This is my grandma's recipe for chocolate chip cookies with an interesting twist. I would use a food processor for the dough until you start putting in the oatmeal, cornflakes, and chips. The Chocolate and Butterscotch Chips can be replaced with White Chocolate Chips or M&Ms or almost anything along thoes lines. There is a lot of freedom for what "kind" of cookies you want to make.
