I think this is an old Martha Stewart recipe. I haven't tried this one in a long time, but I remember it being very good. You will need a candy thermometer for this.

    Recipe #240704

Cheap, easy and so very good. An uncomplicated and traditional old-timey recipe. Cooking time doesn't include chill time.

    Recipe #437289

One of my best friends made this to serve at our monthly girl get-together. I thought it was delicious and got the recipe.

    Recipe #50495

This is one of my favorite 'comfort' foods...sure you could prolly stop and skip the oven part but its on a divine NEW level done as Ive written it! Add a nice salad to complete the meal!

    Recipe #151020

There are a million different ways to make this, but I found this recipe to be simple, quick, and I always have the ingredients on hand. The steak is tender and flavorful, and the gravy is downright addicting!

Oh My Gosh! This is one of the best turkey meat loaf I have ever had! My son Nick LOVE"S this meatloaf. Remember, "Don't let your Meat Loaf"

    Recipe #179259

English recipe traditionally served with sausages. Very good served with all types of poultry and game birds.

    Recipe #18620

I found the basic recipe for this in the TOH 1994 Annual Recipes. It was sent in to them by Ruth Tacoma of Falmouth, Michigan. The original called for 2 medium potatoes, peeled and grated. But to save time, I decided to use frozen shredded hashbrowns that had been thawed. If needed squeeze the water out of the potatoes with your hands. Prep time doesn't include cooking the bacon. Recipe #396914

The original recipe was found in the 1998 edition of Taste of Home's " The Best of Country Cooking ".I did add alot of different ingredients that wasn't in the original, but I still wanted to thank Kim McMurl of Fargo, North Dakota for sending the original into them.Make sure to let meatloaf " rest " for a few minutes, so it won't fall apart when you slice it. A sure crowd pleaser that could not be easier. Use low sodium products to reduce salt content. I use leftover cooked chicken sometimes in lieu of cooking the breasts.

While perusing an article in the Charlotte Observer that asked readers to submit their favorite macaroni/cheese recipes, noticed one that was just too simple to be any good. Well, the wife and I could not stop eating it! This might be the easiest of all comfort foods, one to carry us throough the recession. The author topped hers with cooked sausage links, but it is great as a stand alone. Served mine with cornbread, slaw and crowder peas.

Found this in the Greer Now magazine and it is a wonderful, easy to fix recipe. One that can be doubled if you have a large crowd to feed or want to freeze some up for future use. I used super market rotisserie chicken that was on sale. Great served with a nice garden salad.

    Recipe #384423

A simple and tasty casserole with items usually found in the pantry.

    Recipe #6611

This is a Awesome (!) meatloaf that I've adapted from a turkey meatloaf recipe from allrecipes.com. The original recipe calls for 2# of ground turkey, but this recipe is better with 1# of ground chicken and the added shredded veggies. You can use ground turkey, but I personally prefer the milder taste of ground chicken. This meatloaf tastes amazing and is a great way to incorporate more colorful veggies into your menu (or to hide them for picky little ones). Bon apetit!

This came from TOH. DH loves this recipe. Actually it is 2 recipes, salmon and sauce. I have frozen the patties, uncooked. I have also used leftover salmon instead of canned. This goes great with a raisin pilaf and the one I use has a matching oven temperature of 375 degrees.

    Recipe #293357

Easy dish to fix. I never have leftovers. Thick rich gravy to pour over meat or potato.

    Recipe #37365

This is a healthy, light, and tasty recipe that I modified from a realsimple.com recipe. You can use Pork tenderloins or skinless Salmon, if desired. You can also serve the finished product right away, or, as I did, refrigerate and let all the flavors blend for awhile. I made it in morning and heated it up for our evening meal. When heating in oven or microwave, be careful not to overcook. Hope you enjoy it.

    Recipe #308238

This is a super easy recipe. Its even company worthy. This is a Mr. Food recipe. I have tried many of them and he's never let me down yet. Hope you enjoy.

On ABC this morning( Feb. 29th) the winner of the Mac and Cheese challenge Emeril had going prepared this dish! Everyone raved and I thought that for those of you that are lovers of this dish. (who isn't? :-)) Would like the recipe

    Recipe #289406

I love creamed turkey but always hated gravy in it. My mom use to make this and since then I have added a few of my touches. My biscuits is what makes it so good along with the sherry wine that warms up the sauce.
