I remember having this as a child. It was the best cinnamon toast. We would watch as my mom made this and was amazed at how the cinnamon melted over the butter and hardened. She would serve this on the side of a bowl of sweet rice... which I have on Zaar too. (Recipe #338491) I now make this for my boys. They love it just as much if not more. The actual measurements are as much or little as you like on the toast.
This is a childhood favorite of mine. Aunt Phyllis made her famous biscuits and this Chocolate Syrup was served warm over the biscuits. This one is different from any I've seen here on Zaar. It's more of a syrup than a gravy. I recently got her to tell me how to make this. Now I make it for my boys to enjoy! It's so simple and delicious.
This is a simple yet elegant way to serve your breakfast. It's like a casserole in a loaf of bread instead of a dish. Slice it up and serve as the main dish or as a compliment to a breakfast meat of choice. So good.
Ribs are perfect for the slow cooker because the longer you cook them, the more tender they become. Here's a quick recipe to tempt your taste buds, served with it's own condiment. Time does not include slow cooking. I will prepare this in my slow cooker the night before, plop in the cooker the next day and forget about it. Voila, dinner is ready in 10 minutes.
Found this on the back of a Pillsbury Biscuit dough wrapper. These are so simple to put together. Making biscuits blossom and look like flower petals, sprinkle cinnamon & sugar on top and a scant of jelly in the center. Tasty!
While visiting a friend recently she made this as a side dish with chicken. It was so good I didn't know whether to use a fork or a spoon. She gave me the recipe, So easy, now I can make it for my family.
Taking what I know about rice pilaf, that it can be pretty blan sometimes, I came up with a great TASTY way to make rice. My family requests this all the time. Great served with Chicken, Pork and Steak. For those of you that don't want all the vegetables in your rice, try this one!
