From Sunset cookbook. I love this! It's my favorite pie. You get a lemon curd on the bottom and a thin lemon cake on the top but it pours into the pie crust all mixed up! Please use fresh squeezed lemon juice. If you love lemon desserts, you'll love this!

    Recipe #195525

This is from Cooking Light magazine. The fresh, cool flavor of mint is a welcome addition to this warm-weather drink. Try serving it as a refreshing cooler with spicy Asian food. **I just made this for a potluck recently and everyone raved about it. I thought the sweetness was just right but I like sweet. Since a couple of reviewers thought it was too sweet...if you don't like sweet... start with less sugar and add more at the end.**

    Recipe #219707

This is an excellent and very flavorful recipe adapted from "The California Heritage Cookbook". I've never had anyone not like it. Any steaky fish should work. The avocado butter is a marvelous accompaniment for any barbecued fish, especially swordfish or salmon.

    Recipe #202691

I love this hot or over ice.

    Recipe #206892

For garlic lovers only! Please use fresh garlic and fresh lemon juice. Yes this has a very strong flavor...but I think it's wonderful! I love it so much I usually double the garlic mixture.

    Recipe #202025

From Cooking Light magazine. Spanish for "fresh water", agua fresca is a refreshing, fruit-infused drink that is served throughout Mexico. Depending on the ripeness of the berries, adjust the amount of sugar for desired sweetness. Frozen strawberries would be fine in this. I like this with 2-3 times the water or seltzer water for a thinner drink. I also increase the sugar.

    Recipe #219814

This is adapted from Claudia Roden's "The New Book of Middle Eastern Food". I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor combos. It tastes like a very fresh carrot cake without all the work...and it's healthy!

    Recipe #216768

    From the Splenda website.

    Recipe #255175

I love this recipe's name! From "Mr. Boston All-New Official Bartender's and Party Guide". Great book!

    Recipe #265892

    From: “Flavors of Africa Cookbook”

    Recipe #310244

I adapted an old-fashioned recipe to use with Splenda. It turned out very good!

    Recipe #196786

Since my Recipe#206892 has received rave reviews...I decided to play with another favorite flavor combo...cinnamon and chocolate...Yum! Any strong brewed cinnamon flavored tea should work or chai. My favorite is Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice...I love it with just Splenda and creamer too...it tastes like hot cinnamon candies!

    Recipe #214113

From: “The Africa Kitchen" by Josie Stow and Jan Baldwin.

    Recipe #306822

From: "Complete Home Bartender's Guide" by Salvatore Calabrese. "A Brazilian name for the most popular cocktail usually made with cachaca. This gives you all the flavors without the alcohol kick!"

    Recipe #255839

This is from "The Everything Cocktail Parties and Drinks Book" by Cheryl Charming. In a pinch, you can use regular vodka in place of the vanilla flavored.

    Recipe #253724

Found this on another website. I've made it a few times and it's wonderful! Very easy and refreshing. I usually double this recipe.

    Recipe #195679

Got this off the internet. Turned out to have a very nice flavor and was beautiful. I also enjoyed the textures together. Be sure to use the firm, flat, non-astringent "Fuyu" persimmon NOT the squishy dry out your mouth kind.

    Recipe #199252

Submitted for RSC #9. I used the base from another shortbread recipe that I knew worked and went from there. I really liked the orange flavor and fruits in this. This shortbread is a soft one not the dry crumbly kind. If you've never made shortbread before the dough may seem dry to you but if you press it firmly into the pan and prick it all over the fork it will hold together. It ends up kinda like a bar cookie. The glaze is sweet so I made it optional.

    Recipe #211591

From Taste of Home. My Aunt has been making this for years. One of her sons requests it for his "Birthday Cake". It is wonderfully fragrant and yummy toasted with butter.

    Recipe #232793

From "Mr. Boston All-New Official Bartender's and Party Guide". Great book! I may try this with pureed frozen peaches and diet 7-up.
