Foolproof and easy to prepare. Dish can be made ahead and reheated before serving. You can freeze the leftovers; it works! Feel free to add other herbs of your choice; when fresh herbs are around I am very generous and produce all kind of taste senstions.

These potatoes are dramatic in presentaion and can easily be served as a side for an elegant buffet or a quick side for the family!

    Recipe #41204

I had this at a softball cookout this summer & it is SO good!!! It is gooey, chocolately, creamy; what more can you ask? I think you'll like it! Cook time is approximate chill time.

Super quick dessert to whip up for those nights when the kids have friends staying for supper. They always love it! But be careful it is addicting and even better the next day if there is any left.

    Recipe #103045

These potato chips are very easy to make in the microwave. Also, they are healthier for you as they are not cooked in any oils. This method has intrigued so many people that have tasted them and then made them for themselves. The younger people just love them.

    Recipe #47195

This recipe is totally cooked in the microwave. (With the exception of boiling the noodles - and those can be bought precooked these days.) There are no messy skillets to clean up AND your kitchen stays cool on those hot summer days.

Ok, you've got 20 minutes to get dinner on the table, and the table is piled with books, papers, afterschool snack wrappers and a tennis shoe with a broken lace. You're desperate, but dinner can still be delicious, and yes, you can get it done fast! So, you walk into your pantry, grab a few items, and pat yourself on the back for making those wise purchases. Dinner will be a snap! Call The Kids and/or The Spouse (most of the junk on the table is theirs, anyway, right? YOU wouldn't pile stuff on there.) and issue The Ultimatum: "The dining table will be cleared and set in 20 minutes or no dinner tonight." And mean it. Trust me, it works, but they have to know you mean it.

This is very easy to whip up and great as a family dessert.

This is it, my first recipe. I've been making this "Paella" for years. It's my husband's favourite. It tastes so good, everyone is always surprised when they hear it was cooked in the Microwave. Adapted from The Canadian Living Cooking Collection Series.

A coworker shared this recipe with me several years ago. It is a quick and easy meal for busy nights. I have added seasonings to the beef and bean mixture, used Mexican blend cheese, and served with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and diced onions.

These are very similar to beekm's Pizza Wrap, but I decided to post this anyway, because it's even easier for kids to make themselves, and because my picky 8 year old requests it often. He warns me not to "sneak" anything else in, but of course any of your favorite pizza toppings will work. I like BBQ sauce, jack cheese and shredded chicken in place of the ingredients listed here, too.

A great meal idea if you're in a hurry. (It's tasty too!)

    Recipe #60073

This is the only way I make corn chowder. It doesn't leave that awful skum around the pot like cooking it on the stove does, that you almost have to sandblast off. The bacon gives a wonderful flavour, and the two kinds of corn a nice consistency.

    Recipe #56909

Quick and easy comfort food. Complete meal on it's own, but garlic bread and a tossed salad make great additions.

Chicken Fricassee in half the time. Good source of Vitamin A, riboflavin, niacin, calcium & iron.

Great way to use leftover chicken. Simple enough for a snack and hearty enough for a whole meal.

    Recipe #138296

I found this recipe in Men's Fitness in their "A Man, A Can, A Microwave" department. It looks tasty and easy...and I look forward to making it this week. Stay tuned!
