From : Coffee Talk, A Celebration iof good coffee and good friends cookbook. I received this book in the Cookbook Swap Feb 2009 from my friend NurseJaney. This recipe looks too good to pass up and I may have to make some this evening. For all you coffee lovers this is an inspirational book about friends, God, everyday life ,and Cofffee. Perfect book for me.
NOTE: put coke in ingredients as it would not allow SODA. Use any sodapop chilled for the drink.
For Comfort Cafe 2009 I was thouroughly enjoying all the wonderful coffee brews by my fellow Zaarites. So in honor of them here is a simple yet delicious cup of java! Please feel free to add in any accoutrements you would like. I like cream and a tinge of sweetner in my cafe.
No cooking time as the coffee is already done or made instant.
An easy flavored coffee just as tasty as the expensive stuff from the coffee shop. Quantities are a little vague because I'm not sure how my favorite, huge mug scales down to smaller cups -- use your sense of smell to find proportions that are flavorful, but not too candy-sticky because this is coffee to go with dessert rather than to substitute for the dessert. :) Since I like flavored coffees in the evening I usually use decaf -- brewed strong. Most of the prep time is brewing the coffee.
I thought this is so good. When I made this I used a sugar free Andes mint candy and no sugar added hot cocoa mix. I didn't use mint candy or whipped cream and this was still so good. I got this recipe from Woman's World magazine.
