These are awesome!! I made these to go in my gingerbread gift bag for all the teachers, along with Gingerbread Scones (Gift Bag) recipe #132399, Gingerbread caramel corn recipe #118625, and Crockpot Apple Butter recipe #93886. Prep time does not include time needed to chill.
Get ready for the holidays!! I know a company that sells these for $7 each but I like to include them in holiday baskets. I like to make these for the kids to have cider during the fall and winter holidays as a tradition in our very new household. They are very cute and great as a gift. Tie with a festive ribbon and attached to a bottle of apple juice along with the directions. Also these can be made inexpensively if you purchase your spices from a store selling them in bulk by weight.
This is the alternative form of another recipe posted on here. It is the creation of necessity. I had to make these wonderful mints that my great aunt made for my sister's wedding for my own in England. Because I couldn't find frosting sold like it is in the US, I played around to get this equally wonderful recipe. It can be made to any flavor or color. Just use your imagination and there are the candies of your dreams... melting in your mouth.
From Company's Coming "Chocolate Everything" Yum! This recipe is great to make in a crockpot before going skating or tobogganning. Upon arriving home, you will be greeted with a sweet smelling house and a steaming hot drink to warm you up.
I've made a couple different flavors and like cherry the best. It is one of those things that some adults love and some adults think is horrible. Kids think it is cool. Bright and cheery. Works great if you mix the colors (after it is prepared) to have team or school colors or appropriate colors for a holiday.
These will be a wonderful addition to the coffees and teas that you will be making with the previously posted recipes...or they are marvelous just by themselves. They are so easy (the chocolate ones) that my 8 year old made them herself after I melted the chocolate...they really are nice and got raves from all I gave them to.Get some good quality plastic spoons to start with-no fl
Found in Pampered Chef's Spring 2003 Season's Best. You can use any flavour icing or chips so use your imagination. The consultant doing my cousin's bridal shower used vanilla icing and white chocolate chips-Yummy! Cook time is cool time
