These are wonderful, quick cookies. It is one of the first things I learned to "cook." You can add more or less oats (3 cups work best for me). I have found that the weather makes a difference on the consistency. It is very important not to boil them for longer than a minute.

These are from BH&G's Chocolate Cookbook. A fantastic bar cookie. Soft, moist and creamy. A big hit with family and friends

    Recipe #19152

This is the most *fantastic* cookie, the oil and butter produces a wonderful texture and taste, chocolate chips may be added along with the butterscotch chips if desired, the Skor toffee bits are only optional but I like to add them in ;-)

    Recipe #117424

These are yummy! The original recipe called for red and green Christmas M&Ms, but I see no reason to relegate this delicious treat to just the holidays. :)

    Recipe #137253

A cross between a cookie and a candy, these are rich, easy and impressive. Dark chocolate balls similar to truffles drizzled with white chocolate, perfect for a shower or holiday tray when served in mini muffin cups. From Pillsbury Bake-Off, this recipe paid Mary Anne Tyndall $50,000 in 1994.

    Recipe #121860

I originally made these at the request of my old chorus director John Kelleher, who also worked at Seattle area Starbucks (I think he'd had the combo in a cookie there, once). I was surprised but very pleased they came out so tasty! These days, these are pretty much the only cookies which are requested and I make on a fairly regular basis.

Delicious Italian Biscotti recipe that tastes like a cup of fresh cappuccino. Great as a Christmas gift too. Just wrap a biscotto in cellophane and tie with a bow.

I have an RSS feed to Slashfood.com, and this was featured recently. It's supposed to be the most perfect cookie for Christmas. We don't celebrate Christmas and I still had to try it. One of the best uses of craisins I've come across in a very long time!

"This must be one of the best cookies I have ever eaten." Yep, that's what my mother said the first time I ever made this cookie. It is a GREAT cookie recipe, and not difficult to make at all. I tripled the recipe and took it to school to sell... I sold all of them with in an 80 minute time span to only 4 people. They are good cookies, I can't resist them whenever I make them. And they turn out so nice whenever you bake them, it's hard to make an ugly snickerdoodle. lol. Enjoy. (prep time is estimated)

My mom helped me post this recipe. These candies are like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and are fun for kids to make because you don't have to cook them. My mom and I made these together.

If you're from Wisconsin you have to love cranberries. This is one of my favorite bar recipes and it mixes up very fast and is sooo good.

"Originally in Taste of Home". These cookies are very delicious. They are great with a cup of tea. I hope you will try and enjoy them as we do.

Several reviewers complain about the recipe being too sweet and/or too buttery as originally written. I've included the amounts I use, which I think are 'just right'. Also, since I usually don't have pumpkin pie spice in the house, I use 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. cloves and 1/2 tsp. ginger instead. (Tip: Using 2/3 of the cake mix instead of half makes it easy to make 8 cupcakes with the remaining box since the mix calls for 3 eggs.)

"What a delectable treat for Eggnog lovers everywhere! These cookies have a wonderful spicy aroma and are great tasting. The fragrance of nutmeg and cinnamon will infuse your home with holiday spirit as you bake these cookies. They make delicious gifts and are a welcome addition to cookie exchanges. "

A must try. The butter and brown sugar give the cookies a caramel-like taste that is pure heaven when paired with the apricots and white chocolate. Source: The Neighborhood Bakeshop by Jill Van Cleave

    Recipe #26712

Every Christmas my friends and family look forward to this in the cookie tins I make for all of them. They get very upset when I do not make this. It is so easy to make. However, you will want to give them away as soon as possible because they are very addicting.

    Recipe #15489

These yummy cookies are made with white chocolate and coconut and are completely covered in powdered sugar. They melt in your mouth.

    Recipe #89812

This came out of a magazine and it really is one of the best recipes I found. Yummy! 8)
